That sounds like that kinda horseshit thought up to make people believe that being diagnosed with something means they're better than other people. It's a reading disability.

yeah as a moderately dyslexic person, I kinda think you're full of shit brosky. Kinda on the same level that "Dyslexics are good pilots!"

Its not just coincidence some of our most famous artists and creative thinkers were dyslexics, or that dyslexics often like to work with their hands and through visuals rather than reading and writing.

Dyslexia isn't just a reading disability.

I'm diagnosed Dyslexic aswell but I can read fine what the fuck, my handwriting/spelling is shit and I cant remember numbers over 3 digits without practice.
From what I was told there are 3 types of dyslexia: reading, language and memory.
it's not just a reading disorder.

Well, you were told wrong.
The World Federation of Neurology defines dyslexia as "a disorder manifested by difficulty in learning to read despite conventional instruction, adequate intelligence and sociocultural opportunity"
Difficulty writing is called dysgraphia, although confusingly there is a subtype called "dyslexic dysgraphia".

Dyslexia is a very broad term defining a learning disability, reading and writing is its most stereotypical appearance but it also manifests with many other disabilities and problems which are; awareness, decoding, processing speed, orthographic coding, short-term memory, language skills, verbal comprehension and rapid naming etc etc.
Dyslexia also effects vision or hearing, there are around three subtypes of dyslexia (auditory, visual and attentional). The point is many people think you can stop being dyslexic which comes from this common assumption that dyslexics are just stupid people who can't read and write properly. You can never stop being dyslexic, just because your reading and writing has improved doesn't magically improve your frontal lobe or brain cells - its much of a brain condition like Autism, ADHD and Aspergers is.

You are right, people are wrong to judge you on something they clearly don't understand.
Dyslexia is hardly a "disability", dyslexia results in the brain processing information differently and a majority of people with dyslexia learn by imagery because they process visually rather than aurally (not everyone is the same, but the majority of dyslexics).
It becomes a "disability" when a dyslexic is crammed in a 35 student room with a teacher that can't one on one educate this person who can't keep up because they do not fit the mold. The mold being the set standard of educating children which is over crowded classes and learning from books. This is when it becomes a disability because they slip through the cracks and get labeled "stupid".
Einstein was harassed throughout his education for being "stupid", he couldn't tie his shoelaces.
John Lennon couldn't read or write music theory, nor could he tune his guitar properly in the beginning of his time with The Beatles.

That's dyslacia.
As bad a president as he was, as a person he just looks so friendly.
Hacking an old retired president's email and posting private pics is kinda low.
People just need to leave the poor guy alone.
