Although this might make things a little easier on cracking it.
That's what happened in Digital Fortress. :buddy:
Don't spoil the stuff bro :colbert:
Next day, most searched: AES265 cracker download
Although this might make things a little easier on cracking it.
Quantum processor is all you need. It's effectively withcraft.
two words holy fuck
of course, this is all speculation. for all we know it could be the bluff of the century, or the massive intelligence bomb you all keep talking about. it really could be anything though, the suspense kills.
Wow, the things that could be in there. The government must be packing it now that they cant touch the wiki heads.
I bet jack bauer is yelling at Assange right now who is strapped into a chair. "WHATS THE DAMN KEY!!!!!!!"
digital fortress :suicide:
You got that wrong, Jack'd be helping Assange.
Mind you if they uploaded that they'd be fucking insane, that puts the entire western forces over there in danger, so they wouldn't do that.
It would take years to decrypt the information anyway.
It would take years to decrypt the information anyway.
It won't take more than few minutes [editline]06:47PM[/editline]
What is SHA1? Have someone downloaded Insurance and tried opening/cracking it in any way?
AES is uncrackable as for now. And it will last uncrackable at least 200 years
Yes, they have tried.
Take millions of computers folding to run the cracking software and we could do this.
It won't take more than few minutes [editline]06:47PM[/editline] AES is uncrackable as for now. And it will last uncrackable at least 200 years
What do you mean a few minutes? A guy on a Swedish forum wrote:
And I shall translate: If you want to decrypt/break AES-256 (key) then you must try 2^256 combinations. That is 11579208923731619542357098500868790785326998466564 0564039457584007913129639936 combinations. Let's say that you can do 2 decryptations per microsecond, that is 2000000 decryptations per second. If you do it for one year that will be 62208000000000 decryptations. Let's say that the whole population of the world (6 billion people) would run the same algorithm, then you would make 373248000000000000000000 decryptations per year. In that case, it would approximately 310000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 years to find the key.

SHA stands for Secure Hash Algorithm. The three SHA algorithms are structured differently and are distinguished as SHA-0, SHA-1, and SHA-2. SHA-1 is very similar to SHA-0, but corrects an error in the original SHA hash specification that led to significant weaknesses. The SHA-0 algorithm was not adopted by many applications. SHA-2 on the other hand significantly differs from the SHA-1 hash function. SHA-1 is the most widely used of the existing SHA hash functions, and is employed in several widely-used security applications and protocols. In 2005, security flaws were identified in SHA-1, namely that a mathematical weakness might exist, indicating that a stronger hash function would be desirable.[2] Although no successful attacks have yet been reported on the SHA-2 variants, they are algorithmically similar to SHA-1 and so efforts are underway to develop improved alternatives.[3][4] A new hash standard, SHA-3, is currently under development — an ongoing NIST hash function competition is scheduled to end with the selection of a winning function in 2012.
Take millions of computers folding to run the cracking software and we could do this.
Did you mean get millions of computers to guess what 256bit long key is
I'm saving the file on memorysticks and placing them in my walls :ninja:
Got them on a spare flashdrive that I have hidden.
What do you mean a few minutes?
Decrypting information wouldn't take long if you have key
Decrpyting information wouldn't take long if you have key
Oh that, I thought about the key sorry.
BTW the afg-war-diary is about 3.5 GB when uncompressed (75 MB compressed).
IS there any one else who really doesn't give a damn? And from what I can see as of late, they're only going after the states...why not anyone else?:colbert:
IS there any one else who really doesn't give a damn? And from what I can see as of late, they're only going after the states...why not anyone else?:colbert:
Because we're the ones that are dealing with the most controversial operations.
IS there any one else who really doesn't give a damn? And from what I can see as of late, they're only going after the states...why not anyone else?:colbert:
hmm lets think here for a second... the usa are terrorising the world for years already, leading wars of aggression for money and oil. Im pretty sure, that the USA is the only country that does something like this.
I'm not american, infact, I don't even like america. I just find this insanely interesting. Think about the data this could possibly contain?
Your scaring meh here. also i heard bout that on the news
hmm lets think here for a second... the usa are terrorising the world for years already, leading wars of aggression for money and oil. Im pretty sure, that the USA is the only country that does something like this.
What about the USSR? OR Russia now? Every country has its secret, the only reason why find out about ours is because everyone seems to only dig through our trash. Instead of their own. And immensenly don't give a damn still because I don't want to live in the States anymore.
It's not that they're going after US specifically, it's just that most of the leaks come from or are related to the US government.
Because no one else seems to be asking anyone from anywhere else. The only time someone has a change of heart, is when they're shown the truth and it usually takes an outside person to show it, i.e., Wikileaks or journalists. I seriously just get tired of everyone railing on the US for doing these things. Every fucking country does it, why does everyone seem to hold the United States up to a fucking higher standard?
Russia isn't in any way doing what USA is doing at the moment. Sure, Soviet, USSR, NKVD,KGB, but that isn't happening now. Imagine the possibility of all of american forces getting backfired at if this is released?
Does the invasion of Georgia ring a bell?
My line wasn't busy at the moment, so I've decided to load it. Whatever is inside this file, it may be the hell on earth or just some bad rip of avatar. When time comes we might find out.
