Who doesn't put a damn password on their phone? That way their parents wouldn't be able to install a damn thing on their phone.
Parents who are so weak-willed that they can't even demand access to a phone that they paid for and gave their children the privilege of using aren't going to be trying to install an app like this in the first place.
apparently if you attempt to disable it as admin, it'll lock your phone. can't uninstall it before removing it. here's the thing though, the second your phone unlocks again, the app will take that as a "okay" signal to disable it :v:
from reading the reviews, it seems like they are changing the devices PIN to unlock, and when the lock's remove it completely removes any security you'd set I feel like if that's the case its pretty bad, I don't think apps should have the ability to set passwords on the phone? I would check the app out to see how they make it so difficult to uninstall or disable but it costs $2
android apps can be given device administrator permissions which let them do stuff like lock the phone, change the PIN, etc.. i doubt its possible to prevent the app from just being deleted from the phone without root though
http://www.myfoxaustin.com/story/26311099/app-forces-children-to-answer-phone

That is what prompted Houston mom, Sharon Standifird, to create an app

Standifird spent months designing and working with developers
Idea guy detected [editline]21st August 2014[/editline]
My 20 year old girlfriend's overbearing christian mother made her install this "Life360" app that tracks her phone wherever it is, what her mom doesn't know is that turning off location services essentially renders the app unable to display anything but the phone's last location, without so much as notifying the other users that can view her location :v:
Oh wow that's deviant. do you buttfuck her while she turns off GPS to make it even more forbidden and dirty?
Idea guy detected
Anyone can be an idea guy if you have money. It's called being a businessman.
And what if said kid is across the border, with his/her phone on Roaming networks? Today I went with a friend to a amusement park in Belgium, and on our way home my parents called me, but I declined because they even charge you for answering a call, so I called them when we crossed the borders to the Netherlands, which is most likely even cheaper after all. Besides, if you use a prepaid SIM like I do, along with 3G you really should disable that across the borders; it will run dry in fucking seconds.
Well seeing as how it's an app made by Americans there's a rather different set of assumptions for what 'across the border' means.
