Penny Wong apparently the new Senate Leader
I hope someone remixes that Kevin bloke from Werribee. "Uh he did okayyyy"
Simon Crean and Anthony Albanese both going for Deputy PM
Malcolm Turnbull is opposition Shadow Minister for Communications, hardly incompetent or useless.
I like how they have to get late night people on the TV to get their opinion, all the strange night dwellers.
Turnbull's smart, it's a shame Abott is making him try to destroy the NBN.
That said, his replacement NBN is basically NBN-lite, it's 80% of what the NBN is supposed to be, just having the last 300m or so remain copper.
No fight to the death i think everyone here is quite disappointed, lets hope at least the deputy will do us the favor

True, I mean, Turnbull's very competent. Should have clarified that I meant government communications ministers, instead of opposition. But frankly, I'd like to see the NDIS and NBN kept the same, regardless of government. I mean, the money's already being spent rolling them out.

Yeah the whole existence of that counter policy is pretty much thanks solely to Malcolm, wouldn't have anything like it without him.

Hey, just remembered, when Julia's father passed away she was still the first female Prime Minister, imagine how damn proud he would have been.
THE Governor-General is tonight seeking high-level advice before confirming Kevin Rudd as Prime Minister for the second time.
News Limited has learned that Quentin Bryce was waiting to meet with the Acting Solicitor-General to discuss the constitutional impact of the leadership change before agreeing to commission Mr Rudd.
It is understood Ms Gillard is scheduled to travel the short distance to Government House to resign her office as prime minister.
Just not Abbott. Anyone but Abbott.

Don't say that, we'll end up with Gina Reinhart or the like as opposition leader.

More like Clive Palmer as Opposition Leader & Gina Reinhart as Deputy.

Beats the hell out of the Kevin 07 t-shirts.
I just love what just happened on the ABC.
Leigh Sales: "I wonder if the NRL is on on Channel 9?"
Chris Uhlman: "Oh it's on, they're showing it here in the lobby if you're interested."
Nine kept saying we apologize for the delay we will go to Suncorp as soon as possible like over 20 times
What a farewell speech she has going.

There was a point when she patted herself on the back for putting up with attacks from both parties.
Surprised she hasn't mentioned the sexism/gender thing yet.

Oh wait, there she goes.

She is doing amazingly well. Such a gracious loser. Wow. I am impressed. Compared to Kevin Rudd's response to losing the first time, this is amazing.
She needed to say something memorable like Rudd did in 2010...
Like I gotta zip.

Kevo the sicko as he celebrates.
Haha my mum heard the news and, I shit you not, came out with "She lost because they're all sexist pigs and can't stand to see a woman in the seat of power."
zzzz
Thank you ABC for cutting "Elbow's" speech. Now just cut back and forth randomly. Tony Jones drinking water, this is great. Get Mark Simpkin back onto the Harry Potter analogies.
Kevin and Albo look like the Milky Bar Kid and Porkie Pig.
classic ABC
Did anyone else watch Bill Shorten's speech? He seems like either he is a total psychopath and all introverted and plotting to kill everyone, or someone has a gun/knife stuck in his back and he is desperately trying to let people know.
Fuck it im drawing a massive cock on my preferential vote form. The thing is at least a mile long.
