I have ~2500 Pepe's. Am I a super-nazi yet?
make 🐸 pepe 🐸 non-political 🐸 again
Is pepe the "feels good man" frog or was that another meme that looked the same? If it's the same I have no idea how it's gotten to be a political symbol or some shit. Imagine if fgsfd became a politically charged image. Actually no, that could probably happen. I want off this crazy planet. Edit. Maybe fgsfd isn't the meme I meant. I was thinking of a specific drawn picture of Link. Forget the name.

I think it's safe to say the internet deserves to buy Matt Furie a steak dinner
Thats some hard squinting right there. Ugly skirt though
eh, i don't blame zara for doing it since they lose basically nothing for pulling it and who the fuck knows what kind of twitter drama is gonna evolve into the next PR nightmare having a problem with it in the first place is really fucking stupid though
First of all, some time ago it was generally accepted that the meme was taken by alt right and they managed to change the memes definition to white supremacist views so yes, the meme has a political affiliation. Second, she isn't gloating as she is suprised. I would be suprised if something like Zara pulled because they really wouldn't care.
The media group that declared it "generally accepted" was literally run by chelsea clinton. It was a transparant attempt to smear trump because his social media had used the frog at one point. Anyone who bought into this shit was just a tool for their campaign.
I've seen people be oversensitive before, but this is a whole new level of spinelessness. I mean it's a fucking Frog meme for Christ sake. Not to mention the person is praising themselves over having an article of clothing that's not offensive in the slightest taken down. Pretty pathetic tbh.
are we sure we don't live in a TV show.
Pretty sure it's the word search filter case rather than her actively censoring Pepe. People do it on Tumblr all the time to avoid their post coming up in searches.
Wasn't particularly effective considering it's been found and she is suffering a barrage of Pepe's as we speak.

I think Pepe definitely has political connotations in certain contexts, but often it remains a neutral symbol like on twitch where it's frequently used as a simple emoticon. It usually isn't very difficult to tell whether it's being co-opted as a symbol by the alt-right or not.

It's still stupid to assume malicious intent out of something that originally had none, and go as far as to attack things even remotely similar. Soon we'll be hearing of actual frogs being banned in various contexts.
why are we catering to these stupid middle class fannies again
why are we catering to these stupid middle class fannies again
Because fashion brands like Zara rely on stupid middle class fannies to buy their overpriced clothing...
Why is she such a homophobe?
honestly that skirt is ugly though

P*pe
lmao
it's silly but I realized a while back (*as pascal apparently already said, gg me for leaving this page open since this morning I guess) that typing out the full words will: 1- (more obviously) immediately draw attention of people looking for that content, and thus a shitton of ire before your followers boost the intent of your message 2- add to a thing's 'trending' ranking for better or worse there's nothing a single person can do to really affect the broad levels of content SEO on twitter but it's a feelgood measure that isn't about censoring it like a curseword
Some of them are even proud that they can pull a product by being offended about it.
She seems more shocked than proud but okay [editline]23rd April 2017[/editline] I'm glad we live in a society where we can complain about bad products, imo.
She seems more shocked than proud but okay [editline]23rd April 2017[/editline] I'm glad we live in a society where we can complain about bad products, imo.
It wasn't a bad product
She seems more shocked than proud but okay [editline]23rd April 2017[/editline] I'm glad we live in a society where we can complain about bad products, imo.
Ahahahah holy shit. Bad product my ass.
Ahahahah holy shit. Bad product my ass.
Are you kidding me it looks like someone drew mspaint in real life
Are you kidding me it looks like someone drew mspaint in real life
Almost as if taste is subjective. I mean just look at a lot of modern art. most people think is shit that someone accidentally made by throwing cans of paint in a wood chipper, yet paintings like that sell for millions.

I mean just look at a lot of modern art. most people think is shit that someone accidentally made by throwing cans of paint in a wood chipper, yet paintings like that sell for millions.
What does that have to do with taste and paintings? We don't burn paintings if someone complains about them on twitter, so how does this analogy make any sense?
Are you kidding me it looks like someone drew mspaint in real life
Doesn't mean the product shouldn't be sold because of the offense from a tweet. Also I am starting to really question this girls "randomly chosen" nature. She is a freelance journalist that undoubtedly has connections to bigger news publications.
Doesn't mean the product shouldn't be sold because of the offense from a tweet.
Zara has the freedom to pull a product if they want to.
Zara has the freedom to pull a product if they want to.
Sure, but that's called "self-censorship"
