Democrats don't want to hear that. They only like gun control. I'm a democrat, but I think that democrats that think nobody should have guns, are retarded. Of course criminals will get guns, it's inevitable. Even in countries that outlawed guns 100%, people still get them in bulk. I use to be pretty anti gun until I realized if you take guns away from the normal people that criminals will go elsewhere to get them. Then people will not be able to defend themselves. Its not one of those things "WE NEED AUTOMATIC RIFLES WHEN THE GOVERNMENT TURNS COMMY" I totally beleive if someone breaks into your house you should give him one stern verbal warning that you are armed and will shoot to kill and if they don't leave then you should shoot to kill. However their can be exceptions like if the person is armed himself you don't want to announce yourself so he can fire first.
The law is too focused on the rights of criminals because they get shot or killed. When they should not have been breaking into someones house in the first place.

In certain states it's legally required that you warn an intruder of your intent to use deadly force and not doing so can lead to criminal charges against you.
Granted I'd rather be charged with a felony than let my friends and family be killed because I had to yell at an intruder first.

Found this out recently... In Maryland (where I live) if someone breaks in your house and doesn't have a gun waving around, if you pull a gun, you get arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. What kind of bullshit is that??!!
