Republicans are indoctrinated Social Darwinists, they'll think it's low of them to give money who are conflicted by circumstances or if they're not protestant.
Just call them retards and be done with it
Or selfish fucks if you want to be nice
most rich guys do spend money but they die with most of it. poor people use up there income more and dont save it as much. not to mention that money would be spent on sending there children to college or buying a car which really helps them instead of buying a solid gold toilet
Poor people don't buy golden toilets only because they can't.
Poor people don't buy golden toilets only because they can't.
Golden toilets would become dented easily
horrible investment
give the money to the poor. the money spent on paper plates and crack should help the economy a lot better then giving it to someone who saves all there money for a just in case reason. poor cant save money for a just in case reason cause they need that money for living
Golden toilets would become dented easily

If you were rich, you could just replace it with a diamond one
It's temporary and it's a compromise it's not a big deal right now there are more important issues the administration need to deal with and this was a useful way to get at least some Republican support.
I'm not sure it will work.
Poor people don't buy golden toilets only because they can't.
do you get what im saying? a poor person spends there percent of money more then rich.
do you get what im saying? a poor person spends there percent of money more then rich.
Obviously they do, if I have 1mil and other person has 1k$ and a car costs 1k, the other person will spend more percent.
Money is numbers, not percentage. If money was %, then everyone would have the same amount.
do you get what im saying? a poor person spends there percent of money more then rich.
Poor people tend to support the "little guy" more than the rich. Someone in the poor - middle class range will likely shop at the corner store, farmer's market, buy a used car, etc. This helps the economy.
The super rich keep their money with other rich people; ordering crates of caviar, special ordering a diamond-studded Lexus, so forth. This does jack shit for the economy.
not surprised
They outsource because of taxes and regulations here.
They outsource because it's a lot cheaper to make sneakers in a sweatshop in Bangladesh than a factory in America.
Aren't taxes for rich people at like 45%?
Yes
Because it's been working so well.
Aren't taxes for rich people at like 45%?
Let's bump that up to 70%

Because small guy doesn't want his shop to get bought out, now does he?
Obviously they do, if I have 1mil and other person has 1k$ and a car costs 1k, the other person will spend more percent.

do you understand that giving a lot of poor people money instead of a few rich guys would account for that. that is why the % thing works
Aren't taxes for rich people at like 45%?
The taxes on income above $250,000 are something like that.
However, income below $250,000 is taxed at lower levels. This tax cut was a 4% tax cut. These rich people are bitching about a tax cut that was originally meant to be temporary expiring.
do you understand that giving a lot of poor people money instead of a few rich guys would account for that. that is why the % thing works
By taking from rich using taxes you don't give shit to poor anyway.
Government is not Robin Hood.
Because small guy doesn't want his shop to get bought out, now does he?
Are you saying that small businesses get bought out by big businesses? That's not what happens. A chain retailer will come into an area and simply outcompete the smaller business, not buy it up. Why would Wal-Mart go around buying out local businesses when they can just put up a store and be done with it?
By taking from rich using taxes you don't give shit to poor anyway.

Guess where money from social programs comes from? That's right, the magical money tree. And you know where the seeds for magical money trees come from? Taxes.
By taking from rich using taxes you don't give shit to poor anyway.

Medicaid, Social Security, Medicare, all those things are funded by taxes. Public libraries? Public schools? Fire departments? Police departments? DOT? Your tax dollars at work.

Public education, healthcare, roads, better police forces, firefighting, cleaner water, better care for the old. These are all things you could privately contract if you were rich, but regular people can't afford to hire all these services, that's why we need taxes.
And I don't know if you've noticed or not, but those things are kind of lacking right now in America.
Ban walmart!
Did I ever say that? Goddamn, I could count on one hand the number of FP Republicans who aren't brain-damaged.
Hi my name is johan_sm and I think the invisible hand of the market is a real thing

this was about if they gave the money to the poor instead of the rich.
I don't know how you Americans put up with the retards who want this
The retards that want this manage to convince the lower class that this is good for them because their opponents are socialist fascist communist Muslims.

are you an idiot
sorry how incorrect of me should i rather say "extremely left"
the top 1% of the nations wealth suffices for 37% of all the tax paid
and you're saying they should be paying around half?
im fine with having it go to around 40% but when it gets to the point where the top 1% pay over half of the nations tax quotas then it gets a bit embarrassing
