As I said before, butthurt middle class.
He's not "butthurt middle class", he's just saying that the rich don't create jobs with their wealth.
the highest 2% control 40% of the wealth. they have to keep SOME sort of treasury for themselves
Well of course. Whoever spends all of their money without saving is a moron. Rich or poor. Also, I am pretty sure that they incorporate the networth of their business into that %. And yes, I believe there is a huge problem when the top 2% own 40% of the wealth in this country. Taxing the rich more isn't going to fix it though. We've had a graduated income tax for a long time, and the classes have only become more separated. The key to fixing the economy is enabling the lower classes, not hindering the upper class. Hindering any class in an economy is economical suicide.
So you're for lower income taxes for the upper brackets (that is, extending them in their current state), but against tax incentives that make employers want to hire people? That seems backwards.
When the incentives are being used counter-productively, I am. Right now it seems based on my experience with Toy's R Us that if you're not unemployed, they don't want to hire you because there is no incentive to hiring someone who's not considered unemployed. (At least Macy's gave me an interview before the rejection) Similarly it seems that the Unemployed aren't motivated to go look for work because they receive unemployment benefits that pay them more than minimum wage for up to 3 years (should the current deal get through the Senate). Right now, If you're unemployed in Washington,
the maximum weekly benefit amount is $570. The minimum is $135.
Source: http://www.esd.wa.gov/uibenefits/benefitcheck/how-much.php now if you're getting the maximum benefit for over 2 years and the government keeps extending unemployment, what incentive is there to look for a job? I know not all the Unemployed are like this. Some did look for jobs but gave up, or if very lucky, got hired. Some of them may even still be looking for jobs now.
Well of course. Whoever spends all of their money without saving is a moron. Rich or poor.
the poor cant save money because they have to spend it on living
the poor cant save money because they have to spend it on living
True can't argue there, and that is because of the economic state that could easily be fixed. Now argue the other points in that argument, please.
because most people stay in the same class they were born with and being born with more money is unfair
So what's your solution to this? Parents aren't allowed to put any money towards their children? All funding of any child's life is paid for by the government under a strict allowance that's equal for all children. Life's unfair, but if you end having more money than most you sure as hell are going to give your kids the best start they can have.
so how about my plan to give the tax breaks to business owners instead of just rich guys. so that way the business owner could get more of a tax and the government can still use tax money to run the country
Most business owners are already in the $250,000 bracket, this serves to benefit them and try for the whole trickle down thing at the same time.
then allow them to go to college with free or reduced pay, get them free food, make help drug addicts and spend more on education which all cost tax money
There are plenty of opportunities for lower class individuals go to college. If you can't find a scholarship, you sucked dick in school. End of story. I'm going to college, yes I'm going to have to take out a loan, but I have scholarships to help me pay, because guess what, I worked hard. Oh, and tons of people are eligible for food stamps, but don't bother getting them. I've been on them, and trust me, those are more than enough for plenty of groceries for a family.
I hate all these lobbyists, greedy Republicans and Democrats with no balls. The system is clearly broken and needs to be fixed. (not that I was in any way against tax cuts for people who aren't super rich, if we're gonna have taxes at least tax the super rich)
Doesn't Europe have more of a permanent lower class? for that matter, permanent classes in general?
my mom still could not afford a car causing me to miss school and get lower grades even before the economy sucked
Take the bus, ride a bike, walk. There are your choices. [editline]7th December 2010[/editline] Let me guess, you can't afford an alarm clock, so you can't wake up in time for the bus.
Most business owners are already in the $250,000 bracket, this serves to benefit them and try for the whole trickle down thing at the same time.
yes but most rich guys are not business owners. in other words the tax cuts were useless for most of the people that got the cut
yes but most rich guys are not business owners. in other words the tax cuts were useless for most of the people that got the cut
The $250,000 is the top bracket genius. The "rich guys bracket." Most rich people are business owners, hence why they own a business. The profit incentive.

Once again, Dems have to pick between hurting everyone or helping the republicans. So business as usual.
The $250,000 is the top bracket genius. The "rich guys bracket."
what? i said that not all rich guys were business owners. I never said that business owners were poor
Of course you're going to be butthurt if you have been getting fucked there for your entire life
And this isn't like the good type of buttfucking this is a metaphorical buttfucking that isn't good
cant walk 6 miles, no bus went to my school and I didnt have a bike (not to mention that there was a black vs mexican war going on and my skin color could have got me shot)
There is always an excuse for people like you. Enjoy being poor the rest of your life lazy tosser. Your family is what gives lower class a bad stereotype being lazy. There are plenty of school kids who walk the streets of Oakland to get to school.
The $250,000 is the top bracket genius. The "rich guys bracket." Most rich people are business owners, hence why they own a business. The profit incentive.
Lawyers? Your family is what gives lower class a bad name.
"You live 6 miles from a bus stop, therefore you're lazy" The average walking speed is around 4-5 miles per hour. Should he have to walk an hour and a half to get his bus?
There is always an excuse for people like you. Enjoy being poor the rest of your life lazy tosser.
yes there is. because when your poor you life sucks, you have to live in the places were gangs have wars and you dont have money for a bus or a bike (i was living in a homeless shelter at the time). but really you just mad at me because im poor

All he is doing is blaming the rich.
yes there is. because when your poor you life sucks, you have to live in the places were gangs have wars and you dont have money for a bus or a bike (i was living in a homeless shelter at the time). but really you just mad at me because im poor
Yeah, poor angry at the poor. How bout you homeschool yourself. All states have virtual schools you can sign up for that are free because they are run by the state.
Yeah, poor angry at the poor. How bout you homeschool yourself. All states have virtual schools you can sign up for that are free because they are run by the state.
my mom tried that. she didnt finish college so she was a horrible teacher and we had to quit if i wanted any hope of a future. not to mention I only had a mom that has to take care of her retarded daughter
Yeah, poor angry at the poor. How bout you homeschool yourself. Should one of his parents quit their job to homeschool their kid?
99% of homeschooling is done by parents. Should one of his parents quit their job to homeschool their kid?
Virtual schools run by the states are free and are conducted by real teachers. You are assigned work and whenever you have a problem, you call your teacher or use an application on your computer that allows a real life teacher to help you.
Never did like the idea of taking more money away from a person just because their successful.
Virtual schools run by the states are free and are conducted by teachers.
was to poor to have a computer
