No, I don't. Please refresh my memory. And also tell me about how he didn't break any laws doing this, and that is why we need laws.
http://www.outsidethebeltway.com/the-beltway-snipers-ten-years-later/ [editline]29th March 2013[/editline]
How about "It's fucking cool and I'm not going to use it for nefarious purposes" then?
Maybe I don't understand it, then. Chalk it up to gun culture.
of those gun deaths how many were from fully automatic rifles? i think the solution is obvious: make all handguns illegal and all assault rifles legal since having a gun be concealable is 1000x more useful than having it full auto when committing a violent crime
I think we can all agree on that the AWB is fucking useless, but that doesn't mean other gun laws won't have an effect - waiting periods for example, stricter control on gun sales (both private and retail) and background checks.
I will never, never understand why the ownership of military-grade ordnance by civilians should be justified because "WHY NOT LOL". 'Fucking cool'? Are you serious? Anyone with that attitude shouldn't be let anywhere near a gun. They aren't toys.
So, by "military-grade ordnance", you mean things like .223? Because, 1-3 in this image are military grade ordnance, while 4 and 5 are popular hunting rounds.
So it is potency you seek?
What I seek is having something I want, with all the satisfactions and responsibilities that this implies, and to have the possibility to say it's truly my own, and not just something they let me rent, or something I have to leave far away from me when not in use.
No, I mean a fucking 25mm high-explosive shell fired from a semi-automatic sniper rifle.
I think we can all agree on that the AWB is fucking useless, but that doesn't mean other gun laws won't have an effect - waiting periods for example, stricter control on gun sales (both private and retail) and background checks.
I'm pretty sure that waiting periods and background checks already happen for guns sold by dealers. Also adding restrictions to private sales would be really hard to implement and be effective due to the nature of the sales being private. I guess there could be some sort of list of previous ownership, but even then there are some pretty big flaws with that idea.
I've shot: A couple lee-enfield variants .22 and fullbore. L85 L86 L98 even a FN MAG once and some Kalashnikov Oh and some rocket launched flare Is this another strawman?
holy shit rocket launched flare, i hope nobody gets on your bad side.
but they are democrats the appeal to emotion fallacies are to be expected in negligence to actual logic
Lurk more.
No, I mean a fucking 25mm high-explosive shell fired from a semi-automatic sniper rifle.
And how many crimes has he committed with that gun?
holy shit rocket launched flare, i hope nobody gets on your bad side.
Nice connection you make. Not at all ironic.
And how many crimes has he committed with that gun?
You're missing the context entirely. Read the previous page to see how that ties in to what I was talking about.
I'm pretty sure that waiting periods and background checks already happen for guns sold by dealers. Well, that's an inherent problem with private sales, and I think legislature could remedy this problem to an extent.
You're missing the context entirely. Read the previous page to see how that ties in to what I was talking about.
I've read the last two pages. I'm still not seeing the problem with someone owning a firearm of any caliber, who doesn't use it to commit a crime. If he wants to spend $10 every time he pulls the trigger, that is his prerogative, and his money. It's not my place to tell him how to spend his money.
While we're banning guns, we should also ban Swords. These are very dangerous weapons used for generations in warfare to cut through opponents wearing heavy armor. Especially the NoDachi, that shit's dangerous yo, can't be having anyone using those dangerous things. edit: There's no reason a civilian would ever need to own something that is meant to cut through body armor.
I think we can all agree on that the AWB is fucking useless, but that doesn't mean other gun laws won't have an effect - waiting periods for example, stricter control on gun sales (both private and retail) and background checks.
If they REALLY wanted to cut down on violent gun crime then they would crack down exclusively on the guns that violent crimes are being committed with. These are handguns. The reason why this is, is because you aren't going to carry around an AR15 on your way to rob a liquor store. but no democrats with their typical appeal to emotion fallacy
How about instead of concentrating on the sales of guns, we do more gun safety courses, and by doing a gun safety course you get a coupon thats like... some percentage off the price of a gun safe or something. Stop concentrating so much on the negative and screaming about the bad parts of guns, still drive the point home that its a weapon, but emphasize safe gun ownership and responsible gun securing via safes, keeping it unloaded, ammo in a different location, shit like that. knowledge about guns is going to be far more effective than treating it like its going to destroy the world if you get one. Making people literally afraid of guns will only demonize legitimate gun owners.

Your point being? [editline]29th March 2013[/editline] Plus, I already voiced my opinion on this:
I guess I'm compensating for the fact my penis can't poke holes in paper targets a couple hundred meters away, but if it could my bedroom would look like a warzone.
I felt soooo much better after loading a tube full of shells and just going to town on a target downrange.

We should ban you from going into a school, that'll stop you.
Does that mean NoDachi gets a raging boner every time he posts in a gun control thread?
I don't know, do you?
Does that mean NoDachi gets a raging boner every time he posts in a gun control thread?
Definitely.
I don't know, do you?
Absolutely. I'm stroking my barrel right now.
Clearly you're a school shooter in the prep stages. We should ban you from going into a school, that'll stop you.
Then i went home and played Quake after naming some bots after my ex. Better stop me before its too late.
I don't know, do you?
Well the difference is that if you're on the pro-gun side, it feels like a bald eagle has perched on your engorged member. It's a vastly superior sensation.
I don't know if I'd like to feel bird talons on my knob, thanks.
Guns clearly aren't the root of the problem, but it's seriously ignorant to think that guns do nothing wrong and aren't part of the problem either.
I don't know if I'd like to feel bird talons on my knob, thanks.
You could always try a leather condom. N-Not that I'm talking out of personal experience or anything.
