NO FUCKING FINAL GEAR HAD ALL THEIR TORRENTS TAKEN DOWN.
THEY HAD EVERY EPISODE OF TOP GEAR.
FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKkKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!
The torrents themselves still exist and I guarantee they've gotten indexed elsewhere.
Just don't touch goddamn bitgamer...
Its not bad for me I dont pirate but Dr nick seems pissed 0.0 is it because you pirate?
Liar. You said you never pirated. I have yet to meet a guy who never pirate games/movies/music/tv series.
I don't get why everyones talking about TPB, it's up and working fine... And it won't go down sometime soon.
I thought the new owners are going to convert TPB into a media distribution service. Alot of the old trackers are already shut down, so the Bay is pretty much fucked already.
They're not going to turn it into a media distributon service. (read: It's already one)

That's pretty epic.
On topic: That's sucks, Mininova was pretty cool.

TPB won't be going down anytime soon. The MPAA/RIAA thought they were going to stop piracy by having torrent sites remove trackers, which was an idiotic move since peer-to-peer torrenting is nearly impossible to intercept. Basically, the MPAA/RIAA made pirating even easier.
(Note: I don't endorse the illegal downloading of software, etc etc.)
Wise people go for legit source.
Why the hell does everyone think TPB is dead?
I wonder how much Mininova's traffic has dropped since this happened.
[editline]04:14PM[/editline]
Wasn't there a google thing that showed traffic of websites?
I don't get why I was the only person to get banned for discussing warez when there is other examples of people discussing it within the last 4 pages
:colbert:
btw that Linux Distro I downloaded is pretty fun, buying it tomorrow.
Why the hell does everyone think TPB is dead?
No one knows how to use trackerless downloads. I know I don't.
No one knows how to use trackerless downloads. I know I don't.
You press on the magnet link.
uTorrent starts downloading the .torrent file.
Congratulations, you now have basic motor skills.
Wow, checking out the Alexa stats for similar sites is very, very interesting.
Congratulations, entertainment industry! You've successfully forced all the pirates to um.. type in a different URL to do the exact same thing.
Did Mininova ever even run a tracker? If you really felt like it, you could probably use Greasemonkey to make any other index look like an exact replica of Mininova.
where the fuck do we go now?
[editline]02:16PM[/editline]
wait. pirate bay is still online..... what happened then?
Why do all forums got a anti piracy rules?
Because if everyone's linking and asking for warez all the time then people are going to bug the site owner to shut the site down or possibly sue him.
This is really the first to go.
TBP is fine. Why the hell is everyone going nuts?
Demonoid is only temporarily down as well...
Why do all forums got a anti piracy rules?
So that the police/entertainment companies don't give heat.

-snip for fear of backseat moderation :3-
Sumo is next.
Good, there is a reason for which stuff has a price and isn't free. The only times in which downloading illegally is understandable is when the thing in question isn't (nor will be) available in your country and you can't get it by any other means.
And yeah go on, rate me dumb because I think piracy is a crime.
Are you aware of the prices for some programs?
$3,500 for 3DSMax, $3,500 for Maya, $700 for Mudbox, $700 for Photoshop and $500 for Vegas.
You're right, I think I'll go spend $9000 on those.
actually, that would be $8900 XD
Why does everyone keep saying TPB is legit?
:raise:
Only used mininova for 1 Linux bistro or whatever anyway

This
They ask ba-fucking-jillions for programs with a few features that make it more able to use than a free one.

They also got no student licenses as far as I know.

Haha thank you, I feel a bit dumb now.
Now it can be successful like Napster.

Linux is a bistro?
Does that make Windows a steakhouse and Mac that stupid organic foods place that everyone hates?

So disagreeing with their pricing entitles you to have it for free? Good to know. BRB, I'm gonna head down the Aston Martin showroom, it's absurd how much they charge for a DB9, I'm just gonna take one.

When you're 16, yeah, I have no moral issues with it.
EDIT: The programs I mean, not the car.
