Am I the only one who actually likes Virgin Mobile? They have a good selection of phones running Android, and (in my area at least) I get great service. Plus, they're cheap and they don't ever pull shit like this behind your back. I will admit however that their non-smart phones are really really really terrible. But if you get a smartphone from them it's great.
Stupid as all fuck get out to charge your bridged connection to a computer, really what fucking thing does AT@T think that they have to right to do so.
I have unlimited data.
There's no option to tether, it's automatically included. For free.
Sure seems like letting big companies rule over people was a good idea, America.
I've said it many times and I will say it again.
What reason would anyone have to use AT&T now after all of the shit they've done and the shit they continue to pile on to their customers.

Stuck on a 2-year plan, maybe.
Luckily my parents don't trust me so I don't have 3G on my iPhone :smug:

The fact that they are running on the Sprint network makes it even worse. At $80 a month minimum, Sprint fucks us over
while Virgin charges almost half. How is it that a small company can charge so little for the same network unless maybe they are connected? Bottom line, if Virgin can charge so little, than Sprint could also. WTF?
Do they not understand what it means now that they don't have a monopoly on iPhone service?
It's like they want to give verison their customers.

At the very least, they blocked all the well known tethering apps to Verizon customers in the Android market.
Fortunately, you can sideload apps really easy. Good job Verizon, you so pro. :downs:
I thought jailbreaking iphones and shit were legal now?
Well I have unlimited data plan on my iPhone as well as my sisters.
So this doesn't bother us :D

What does this have to do with jailbreaking or legality?
I thought jailbreaking iphones and shit were legal now?
Not really the same thing. They can't legally force you not to root/jailbreak your phone, but that doesn't stop it from going against a company's internal policy (which is just as good as law as far as your terms of service go).
