it's clearly apple juice, jeez they just don't want to you wash your face in apple juice
Guys, what can outdo a power failure at the Superbowl? A power failure during the Olympics.
you think they would at take corruption levels into consideration when choosing a host nation.
I talk to my friends about not watching or supporting Olympia in protest of how workers and locals were treated and they tell me some bullshit about how it's gonna destroy the lives of the hundreds athletes when nobody watches it but oh look how fast they shut up when I ask them what about the thousands of workers who worked for years without payment at all.
Holy shit this is both funny and a bit sad when you think about it.
Reminds me of those old "only in russia" images that used to circulate back in the early 2000s. something tells me that building design and carpentry isn't one of their strong suits
Its pretty funny when I look back that some FP'ers tried to argue to me Russian building/engineering is actually good.
Its pretty funny when I look back that some FP'ers tried to argue to me Russian building/engineering is actually good.
Which engineering is superior? Since you're going to group in every form of engineering known to man on an equal basis and please categorically tell me how they better or worse. How do you define good and who are you comparing 'russian engineering' to?
They paint the grass too.
They paint the grass too.
That's actually common practice in a lot of places.
So the grass then dies?
So the grass then dies?
Well, it's not like Russia is going to give a flying fuck after the Olympics are over with.
Are you sure they're painting it? It looks like the same jug I use to kill weeds. You can also put fertilizer in them and stuff. I actually think typical paint would immediately clog the nozzle of one of those.

But that canister could simply be weed killer.
Welcome to our regular life. Well, not as bad as in sochi though.
Hope Russia is prepared to be the laughing stock of the world
Are you implying it isn't already? Man, I really want more pictures.
you think they would at take corruption levels into consideration when choosing a host nation.
Doesn't help if the olympic officials are corrupt v:
i hope 2022 world cup in qatar doesnt turn as bad as this i would feel really bad for sports fans having a shitty time visiting the country

How do you define good and who are you comparing 'russian engineering' to?
I define good as functioning as intended, and not falling apart after weeks/days/hours. I think that you must have a serious hard-on for Russia if you look at the kind of construction that happens in Russian cities and think it's about the same as in Western Europe or North America. I lived in the former Soviet Union for a few years and have spent a fair amount of time in Russia and it's night and day compared to the US, and that's leaving aside the bribery present at every stage of the process.
This is even more sad when you know Putin put a 12 billion USD budget into the olympics, when every olympics cost less than 2 billion USD before that one
This is even more sad when you know Putin put a 12 billion USD budget into the olympics, when every olympics cost less than 2 billion USD before that one
I wonder where those 12 billion dollars went.

Looks like double toilets are a common practice. Found another one.
Jesus.
Holy shit, they have Fanta instead of tapwater These Russians sure know how to party
As a Lithuanian, I'm impressed with what they've done with the time they had. In here we can't build a fucking Stadium for 20 years now.
Holy shit, they have Fanta instead of tapwater These Russians sure know how to party
0/10 not orange enough
0/10 not orange enough
such is life in the zone
I wonder where those 12 billion dollars went.
vodka
It is more than functional. I keep reading posts suggesting otherwise.
Dude they have hotels where you can't use the water on your face because it'll give you mystery diseases That is not even close to being fit to host the Olympics. If reporters and athletes are being put up in accommodation like this, what's going to happen when hundreds of thousands more people start showing up to watch?
