i don't understand people saying GTA IV's car handling was "unrealistic"
i can't even count the number of times something i did in GTA IV was near identical to the motion in a russian dashcam video
An Aston Martin DB9 doesn't have 25 degrees of body roll going around a corner at 30mph.
After playing it on PS3 since it came out I gotta say Its fun but there are still so many problems.. This game might of been alot funner if everyone didn't hack bugatti's and tanks. I doubt I'll buy it again but we'll have to see when all the mods come in.

It costs $38 in Brasil.

Let me crop it a second time.

And wow, 60€...
60 Euros holy fuck. It's 30USD in Russia, I'm tempting to grab that copy since I am in the "poor EU" region.

Why are you suprised at €60? It's pretty much the norm for AAA releases.
Why are you suprised at €60? It's pretty much the norm for AAA releases.
I remember when AAA's used to be £30 standard, ah the good old PS2 days
Why are you suprised at €60? It's pretty much the norm for AAA releases.
People also expect that it'd be a bit cheaper since it's been out on consoles since 2013. Hopefully it's made well for PC to justify the price.
drive a car and you'll know why
Don't try this bullshit argument please.
I drive high performance cars for my company all day..
I buy and sell them actually...I'm guessing I know a little bit more about driving them than you do.
That doesn't make your or my preference or opinion more valid.
I prefer the realistic 'car require braking before corners' approach of GTA IV over the "go around a corner at 80Mph" that GTA V did.
Doesn't make either of us idiots, just different preferences.

While IV is a bit extreme on driving physics, I do like it more too, it feels more authentic(not realistic) and skill based than V.

Well, the game technically came out a year and a half ago. Kinda sucks.
Well, the game technically came out a year and a half ago. Kinda sucks.
Another bad argument.
It didn't. Why didn't you buy it a year and a half ago then for PC?
It's been built from the ground up, seperately for PC, from what they tell us.
Seeing as it's from Rockstar, I'll believe them on this unlike most other devs.
Amazon.fr still lists it at 45€, I hope it stays at that price.
cool, i bought it 1 and half years ago on ps3 and its the same game with 1 new feature and the source textures in it
Ah you're one of the butthurt guys I see.
(User was banned for this post ("Why reply" - SteveUK))
Metro 2033 Redux was built from the ground up as well. Hey, look, it's $25.
[editline]16th January 2015[/editline]
I can understand it has new features, optimizations, and a lot of work done for current gen, but it kind of feels like a kick in the nuts when you bought the game a year ago for full price and now you gotta fork out full price again for the platform you originally wanted it on. I wish they'd do some kind of loyalty thing, like if you own GTA IV you'd get 15% off or something silly like that.
What?
"Yeah dude I've been playing it for 1,5 years dont you forget it. Enjoy your texture upgrades lol ive been playing for 1,5 years"
I'm really not sure if its worth the 59 euros, honestly i feel like waiting some more just to get it cheaper.
"Yeah dude I've been playing it for 1,5 years dont you forget it. Enjoy your texture upgrades lol ive been playing for 1,5 years"
theres a term for people like you
if it's so cheap in brasil and russia and I assume a few other areas, is it possible to buy pre-purchases from one of those cheaper areas? or is it going to be region locked in some way. I'd love to get the preorder bonus $1mil, but it's not worth like a $20 difference if I can wait and purchase a brazilian key post-release
I'm getting it because if it's anything like GTA IV, the replay value is through the roof
I still find myself launching that game just to dick about in a car or fly a helicopter in to my friend
(Plus I want to ramp the graphics up to the max)
let me reiterate
the game has been out for 1.5 years
me and many other fpers have been playing since launch of last gen and will buy again on pc
the price for the pc version isn't ethical, its full price for a product thats arguably 1.5 years old, or even 5 months old since next gens paltry gameplay additions
Then dont buy it.
nobody cares

Eh. Almost seems worth it for San Andreas, I have the CD for it but it won't install because it's scratched to shit.

Not like you can't buy that for ~$2,50 every time a sale pops up.
Not like you can't buy that for ~$2,50 every time a sale pops up.
I honestly haven't checked prices, or really "bought" a game on steam other than Garrys mod. Everything I have either is a mod or came from a physical copy.
65GB?
Basically a big fuck you to Australians with our shit internet speed.

I would say $74 is more of a fuck you.

Games usually get a price drop some time after release but I don't see how it's unethical not to do that?
