I'm probably more mad that we still only have 30 players online. What the fuck?
So I'll probably be tracking down a physical copy of this then. :v:
Nearly 7-8 DVD DL worth. Holy damn. I've got the space, but the download though, especially on release date is going to be murder, even if my connection is competent enough to download that within a day.
A little disappointed they are pushing it back two months. That was the single thing I was looking forward to this month.
Right now, I'm looking forward to GTA V because I want to see Totalbiscuit tear up Rockstar in WTF is GTA V.
Why would TB tear it up? He likes good games.
Those minimum requirements are ridiculous, I thought they would be at least on par with Max Payne 3 ones.
9800 as minimum is pretty good, I could max out MP3 on DX9 with the exact same setup they have on minimum.
I only have 35gb left :(
Ugh. Rockstar, two and a half months is not "A few weeks".
Who else isn't surprised after that last tweet from them saying there were no plans to delay "yet"?
And people thought I was crazy when I said I had two 2TB drives
Also this would take me an hour and a half to download tops
Imagine if the update a large portion of the game after it goes gold (Halo Mcc), that would be the biggest Fuck You from r*
OC'd 2500k at 4.5 and a GTX 970
Hoping I can max it out at 1080p/60fps+
Hahahaha. I smelled this delay coming from a mile away and even commented on it a few weeks back. The lack of news was a dead giveaway. Never change R*
At least i now know i meet even the recommended specs. Just a shame that my SSD is only 111gb and it's what i use for my OS. No way i can install it on there.
I seriously have to ask, why did they add "DVD Drive" in the list of requirements?
ARRGH FFS I JUST PUT IN A HOLIDAY REQUEST FOR FEB 2ND TO PLAY THE GAME
i5 3570k and R9 280x.
Gonna buy this game retail that's for sure.
I seriously have to ask, why did they add "DVD Drive" in the list of requirements?
So that you can install the game via a DVD.
Or has the advent of Steam made everyone forget about discs?
I love how they said We have yet to announce any problems for a delay, the release date is January 27th.
And now they do this?
R* wow.
I seriously have to ask, why did they add "DVD Drive" in the list of requirements?
They'll send a Rockstar Social Club game activation DVD* that you need to use to unlock the Steam copy.
*Arrives in 6-8 months from purchase.
I'll have to uninstall battlefield 4 but I can run this max - that's some good news at least!
I upgraded from the minimum specs to over the recommended last xmas so I'm ready.
I had a core 2 quad and a 9800GT, now I have an i7 5820k + Vapor-X R9 270X 2G.
1/3 the reason for making it was GTA :V
The most effective anti-DRM tool in my opinion: 65GB :v:
"You wouldn't download GTAV"
Doesn't meant it won't stop some people from doing so.
Was hoping I'd meet minimum specs, surprised the computer I built last year surpasses recommended
I'm all for more delays as long as they are making the game better. As someone said earlier, after 2014 I don't think anyone should complain about games getting more polish.
Time to clear up some space on my SSD. Let's just hope they let us pre-load this days in advance.
What the fuck is The Witcher 3 gonna look like if even GTA V has these recommended specs??
As I just posted in the GTA thread in the GGD I think I will post it here. This would of been an acceptable time for a big company to of put a game into steam early access considering this terrible timing to do such a large delay.
ARRGH FFS I JUST PUT IN A HOLIDAY REQUEST FOR FEB 2ND TO PLAY THE GAME
You used up a holiday just to play a game?

It'll take me 3 days to download it all, think I'm gonna buy it retail again.

Wow thats an unbalanced system if I've ever seen one (assuming its for gaming)

To be fair that was from a support guy. They rarely know much more aside from the things already made public.
Oi they've released the first PC screenshots too, in 4K

Hnnng.
With that I can conclusively say that every gigabyte is worth it.
My pc does not have a dvd drive :v:
Mine just doesnt work since i can't power more than 3 things at a time. Oh well, not that i care. That 65gb is nothing i havent downloaded before. Will take me a few hours, tops.
So my friend wants to run this on their laptop with an i5 3210M. Would that deal with it on minimum settings? It seems borderline because the integrated graphics are about on par with a GT 9800.
fuck me my i5-2300 is never gonna survive this
