It says they're coming to console in the weeks leading up to PC launch i.e. consoles get them first
Oh fuck, i think you're right. Fuck me. :( There's no good side to this.
Hopefully those low system requirements mean that it's a good port.
The fact that my rig built for the upcoming release of Battlefield 3 falls just shy of recommended specs says to me that it is a good port.
Then you just have a really old laptop. The minimum requirements are hardware that's 7 years old.
It's just 2 years old, back when I bought it it could run pretty much every game. Another thing is that we're talking about high-end 7 years old hardware, no one I knew had such a good PC back in 2008, or even 2009.
Oh my god for fucks sake! They even said they weren't going to delay it. This is bullshit.
65 gb?! i'll just play DA:I
Kind of disappointed in the delay, BUT that only means they're working on it more which is good. I'd hate to see it 'lacking' just because they wanted to get it out there already. Been sort of preparing for it with my new GTX970. Only thing that may need changing is my CPU which is just an AMD-1340 3.8ghz, so it should be okay for the time being unless I upgrade til then. Also super glad I download things at a peak of 10mb/s. And some say Comcast sucks...
So that you can install the game via a DVD. Or has the advent of Steam made everyone forget about discs?
I thought more like do people even have CD players. Man times are moving fast
I'm totally okay with that delay if it means it's fully optimized and ready when released and not a mess like GTA IV was.
Oh my god for fucks sake! They even said they weren't going to delay it. This is bullshit.
"They" was just some tech support guy.
-snip you!- But still. I expected 50-60 GB...
I'm totally okay with that delay if it means it's fully optimized and ready when released and not a mess like GTA IV was.
This is what everyone said when the January date was announced.... really, this delay is really insult to injury at this point.
Hmmmm...
congrats?
2 tb of ssds are ready for you gta
"They" was just some tech support guy.
And a lot of people are getting worked up over that. I wonder if he'll get any blame.
Was looking forward to this games january release but the delay is a good thing for me, gives me more time to play Dying Light and Resident evil HD for whats left of this month and next month,
Better be the best fucking port ever.
Fuck those guys. I'm so bored with my games library they might as well have pushed it to next year. On a positive note though, my i5-2320, GTX 660 Gigabyte WF OC version and 8GB DDR3 should be able to handle the game okay-ish, especially on my tiny 1440x900 monitor. But seriously fuck 'em though, I even cleared hard drive space in preparation to this, and now I have to re-install a bunch of games.
I'm sorry i'm crap at this stuff,Will gta be ok for me? i5 2500k 8gig Ram Gtx 770
Yeah, not buying the game online through Steam with an HDD requirement like that... Physical copy here I come!
*Dick-waves storage capacity*
hahahahahahaha
I'm not entirely sure how a nVidia 9800 GT compares to a GTX 460 mobile card. My guess would be that they are roughly equivalent if the regular GTX 460 is a bit faster than the 9800GT. Am I even somewhat correct?
glad my PC now has the specs to meet recommended on these 8th gen titles They keep up this 50+GB requirement for games though and ill need to buy another 2tb drive
The most effective DRM in my opinion: 65GB :v:
It'd be fantastic if they released a torrent of the client actually, with everyone getting this trying to download 65GB from distributor's servers it's gunna get painful. Plenty of smaller games release the client or patches via torrent, and I get far faster speeds with those during high traffic times.
whats up with people keeping every single 50GB game they own on steam downloaded all the time [editline]13th January 2015[/editline]
It'd be fantastic if they released a torrent of the client actually, with everyone getting this trying to download 65GB from distributor's servers it's gunna get painful. sick, I can run it on minimum graphics lol
why don't you buy retail then?
Gonna take 2~3 days to download this, i hope they at least care enough to do a pre-load.
My 1TB HD is crying. This is gonna take a big chunk out of it.
Why didn't they just put the release date in March in the first place? It reflects badly on them if they keep pushing back the release and if GTAV is less than stellar, people are going to be pissed because it took so long. Wasn't it originally supposed to be out in the fall of 2014? Also what the fuck, how can GTA V take up so much space? Are they trying to do what EA did with Titanfall?
Seriously you'd think they'd give us some fucking space and then if it's done early they'd be like wow guys surprise it's gonna come out a month earlier than expected
