Imagine you're some kid coming home from school, only to find your neighborhood got hit by a drone strike and now your entire family is fucking dead. Everybody you knew, loved, and grew up with, now gone forever. All because of some possibly false rumors that one of your next-door neighbors might've secretly been a terrorist. I'd be a little pissed off and vengeful too. And so we gain another enemy, just because we thought an over-the-top use of force would stop extremists. Because somehow killing innocent civilians is the key to winning wars for these people.
