No, I'm not a dumb facepuncher [editline]10th December 2011[/editline] peace out bitches, holla kiss kiss
Fuck I can't handle all the cool
Hello, I'm Rick Perry and I don't know what separation of church and state is.
If i could be president, i would vow for a national day of "doing what we like, without harrassing/ harming other people"! Wait, this should be any day of the year...
Trust me, if this psycho gets elected it'll abolish the term-limit and rig every damn election. Don't give it even the tiniest of chances, not even a grain of compassion towards it's cause. That's right, don't even acknowledge the thing as a person.
OK the Bill of Rights has been abused a lot in recent decades (EAT SHIT, 14TH) but this is literally what the First Amendment is against.
Wait a minute, isn't this a little bit of a smack in the face of the first amendment?
Wait a minute, isn't this a little bit of a smack in the face of the first amendment?
less of a smack in the face and more taking a flopping cock and slamming it on the face of everyone who isn't a baptist christian
Wait a minute, isn't this a little bit of a smack in the face of the first amendment?
Why do americans praise their amendments like it's some god law? It was made by man and it can be broken by man.
Why do americans praise their amendments like it's some god law? It was made by man and it can be broken by man.
because the theory is that they are based off natural or pre-existing law e.g. outside society you have the ability to speak and express yourself freely, and protect yourself and so on
Why the hell do single people still have so much power? I mean, he obviously needs approval, but still, when can normal people suggest things? So much for democracy. :>
Why the hell do single people still have so much power?
Rick Perry is married.
Rick Perry is married.
Let me make his sentence clearer : :v:
Well if this does come about, at least it's a free holiday for you guys.
So instead of vowing to fix shit, he wants to make a day where everyone prays and hope that will fix stuff? I'm sure that will work a lot better.
What is with this guy and his anti-war on Religion bigotry? I don't see how Obama or his administration are fighting a war on religion; if anything I'd like to see Obama completely sever any links that religion and government has.
What is with this guy and his anti-war on Religion bigotry? I don't see how Obama or his administration are fighting a war on religion; if anything I'd like to see Obama completely sever any links that religion and government has.
They hate everyone who says "Happy Holydays" instead of "Merry Christmass" and they think (the religious nutjobs) they're anti christian (anyone who says "happy holydays").
They hate everyone who says "Happy Holydays" instead of "Merry Christmass" and think they're anti christian.
Anti-Christian, no. Just Anti-Stupid. For someone like Rick Perry to assume everyone in the US is a Freedom loving Christian is so wrong it makes me sick.
Why do americans praise their amendments like it's some god law? It was made by man and it can be broken by man.
Because this guy is a badass. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Locke He pretty much figured out how to have a free and peaceful society some three to four hundred years ago. We still haven't gotten it working.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion
I can remember when people thought Perry was the most sane of all the candidates, and now he's gone all Al-Qaeda and trying to force things.
Do Republicans know how stupid they really are?
Do Republicans know how stupid they really are?
Of course not, or else they wouldn't be stupid.
If he gets elected there's going to be more banjo playing and family raping than ever.
http://www.rickperry.org/contact-us/
Mr. Perry. I'm a 19 year old citizen of the great state of California, and all I can really say to you is stop campaigning. You don't know a single thing about this country, how it was founded, how it's governed, and the like. You seriously want to institute a "National Day of Prayer" when such an action is illegal under the First Amendment. You can't recite the names of the departments in the President's cabinet, and don't get me started on your latest video stupidity. Do you really think gay soldiers are going to make this country worse? I mean holy god damn gay people serving the country they love, who ever would have thought those sick pagens would want to do such a thing! No, you're supposed to live and die a man, a straight man. If you're gay you can't die for your country is basically what you're statements are tantamount to. Now because you in reality are just as judgmental as everyone in this whole forsaken world, you probably assume I'm some gay person from California. The exact opposite sir, I am a straight male who lives in the Mojave and keeps to himself, and I raise chickens. Bet you didn't expect that while you were reading. It doesn't take the most educated person in the United States to tell you you're a gigantic idiot, it takes a chicken farmer apparently since no one will take the initiative.
Leave him a nice message guys.
He has to be fucking trolling, he has to be doing this on purpose.
Of course not, or else they wouldn't be stupid.
Maybe they all teamed up and do it on purpose and laugh how people eat their shit. IRL trolling.
I actually don't doubt that now. They're the ones with money and power, so why not have it all end with a gigantic row of laughter?
He's not trolling, he's doing this to rally the Evangelicals in iowa to his cause. Iowa's a strange state where insane campaigns like this have to be used. He'll likely go for a more... not-fucking-retarded approach with the rest of the states. Or he'll fuck it up and campaign to end all gay rights in California. That'll go well, just watch. He'll be the nominee in no time with that approach.
And here I thought out country was founded for religious freedom. But what do I know?
