The only thing that would make this better, is if it was Postal's ass
actually no not really i wouldnt make something that stupid
Yeahno.
Hitler managed to legally lead Germany because of people's fear of a non-existent problem made worse by an actual problem. Don't you ever under-estimate nutjobs. No I'm not saying Rick Perry is Hitler and yes I know using Hitler for arguments is overused, but really who else but him give a good example of people's totally irrational behavior whenever there's a problem ?
Though this is a good example, Rick Perry is really uncomparable due to the fact that it's hard to take him seriously.
It'd be funny if Rick Perry won and turned out to be the antichrist
Though this is a good example, Rick Perry is really uncomparable due to the fact that it's hard to take him seriously.
Look back at Hitler, he was a short ugly veteran with a mustache who never stopped waving his hands around and had crazy speeches that made no sense. I'm not saying Rick Perry has a lot of chances to get elected - there's much more people hating him and being rational than in the 30s with Hitler, but saying "yeah, that guy looks too crazy, won't get elected" is really overestimating the human ability to do correct choices.

Hitler's uprising still does surprise me, I believe it was 90% pure luck he managed to get as far as he did.
To be fair I hate people who say happy holidays, it is Christmas. Fuck people who might be offended by that, and I am saying this as someone who is not a Christian. I'd have the same feeling if any other religious event was renamed by the mass media to try and stop people being offended.
Should a atheist be offened if a religious person said "Thank god"? Just let everyone say what they want as long as it isn't offensive, and no, "happy holydays" isn't offensive.
Should a atheist be offened if a religious person said "Thank god"? Just let everyone say what they want as long as it isn't offensive, and no, "happy holydays" isn't offensive.
To this point, stuff like "thank god", "for god's sake" or "god damn it" are common phrases everyone use. I'm even pretty sure more atheists use these phrases than actual religious people because it's pretty much a minor sin to use the name of god for petty reasons. Also it's dumb to judge people over whether are they saying happy holidays or merry Christmas - it globally means the same thing - Christmas is during holidays and holidays are here because of Christmas, so there's no reason to argue.

Athiest 1: "Gesundheit" Christian 1: "WHAT IN TARNATION, YOU DIDN'T SAY 'GOD BLESS YOU' YOU'RE GOING TO BURN IN HELL INFIDEL SINNER."
It's usually below freezing in the morning, but warms up to 60 or so. This is now though, I don't know how this winter will be.
60 what? F or C? If F then its very little. If C, then okay that is a damn lot.
Anyone else think this is a strategy by the GOP to make the other candidates seem less extreme and more electable? I think Perry is just a pawn here.
Because this guy is a badass. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Locke He pretty much figured out how to have a free and peaceful society some three to four hundred years ago.
Unless you're Catholic. The man couldn't stand them.
Isn't that illegal in some way?
In every way.
Office of the Governor Fax: (512) 463-1849 brb faxing goatse
What will that achieve?

Outside english language it's not called christmas. It's called mainly winter holidays. I like happy holidays/happy winter holidays. Fuck christ and his mas. Not to mention calling it winter holiday is more neutral and respectful with everyone's beliefs/disbeliefs.
He seems like the kind of person who if he had the power to, would call a crusade.

Christmas is not a religious event anymore. It's far much more like the pagan event of Yule, with presents thrown in and in one day instead of 12.

Christmas, holidays, who gives a fuck what people say to you about it. Just enjoy the time off from school and work! People get butthurt too easily these days
What will that achieve?
What wouldn't it achieve?
What wouldn't it achieve?
World peace?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=He_9WnqS1W0 .... I have no words. [sp]Its unlisted, media tags don't work.[/sp]
World peace?
hahah oh wow
Wonder what he would do if he actually tried this and the supreme court told him no.
Executive order dismantling the supreme court for reasons of "national security" Followed by legislation that would make being gay, atheist or muslim a capital offence, with execution by firing squad to be carried out before the court and broadcast on national television immediately upon conviction.
What if I prefer saying "happy holidays" for the alliterative aspect of it?
Then that is fine, my issue is entirely with people who do it to avoid offending people.
