IIRC, the term "Ten Gallon" hat comes from a mexican word "galon", and 10 from the size of the hat being enough to 10 hatbands.

Almost all of the Marlboro Men have died at pretty old ages. I'd be pretty interested to see a record of all of the MM's and see how many died from lung cancer and all.
Also, I sometimes wonder if Marlboro ever plans on getting into the E-Cig business and making E-cigs that look like normal cigs.
