god damnit everyone just stop fucking shooting people just stop it
its our culture you insensitive shit
i know there's a ridiculous "ffs america" bandwagon thing that always happens and obviously the reply is "hey. shootings happen in lots of other countries too" but seriously does it happen like this anywhere else? yes there are lots of other developed western nations with gun issues (south africa comes to mind, among others) but in many of those nations it's to do with actual monetary and gang-related crime, not political 'terrorism', for lack of a better world. sure there are other countries where there is a relatively high number of shootings like this, like finland, but this must be - what? - the 3rd or 4th mass shooting/bombing incident in the states since the start of 2013?
Wait, so it's perfectly legal for a felon to pay someone else to buy them a gun?
No. That is why the woman was arrested in New York related to the fireman killings last year. A straw purchase (buying a gun for someone who legally cannot) is a federal felony and can see hefty fines and/or prison time.

New Orleans is a shitty city. There are very good odds this was gang related, and not political terrorism.
Sandy Hook was not political terrorism. It was a vendetta. Batman shooting was not political terrorism, it was a demented individual.

ah yes fair point. consider my post updated to "political terrorism and/or mad individuals"

Still mostly money/gang related in the States anyways, it's just that that stuff doesn't get as much attention as what you're talking about, and the US gets a lot media attention as a whole.
Ends up looking a lot worse due to that.
First guy in OP is a badass with his gun wound, havin a water break haha

This guy looks like being shot wasn't the worst thing that happened to him today; just another bump on an already really crappy day. Probably forgot to buy his mother flowers.

Good thing it's a cut from glass debris.
That guy in the first pic seems pretty chill after getting shot
I think he already screamed enough or/and that they have given him painkillers(or that his body has made much adrenaline) so he doesn't feel it that much anymore.
America sure seems like a lovely place to live and raise your family.
Finland huh?
Remember that big School Shooting back in '08? Or the Jokela shooting in '07? Man Finland must be a cesspool of violence. Sounds like a horrible place to live.
Remember that the US is composed of 50 states, most of which are at least twice the size of many European countries. The metroplex I used to live in here in Texas has more people living in it than all of Finland. That said, I think we're doing just fine.
God damn
do they know the reason why yet?
I think people forget quite how many people we've packed into these 50 packing peanuts. We're not China, but because our population is high, more people, on average, kill. It's only garnering higher-than-normal attention because of gun control debates.

New Orleans isn't shitty, you're thinking of Baton Rouge. I stayed in NO a lot, it's safer than Baton Rouge. However, after Katrina, crime spiked along with homelessness and poverty. Real shame the city turned to that
