If Australian Liberals are American Conservatives, I'd hate to see how uptight your Conservatives must be.
No, they're our conservatives. The Liberals are economically liberal, but socially conservative. Labor, who are currently in power, are social democrats, and are fairly progressive socially. They're more like the American Democrats. [editline]26th September 2012[/editline] dammit
Homosexual adults can consent. Children, animals and objects cannot.
DILDOS AND FLESHLIGHTS HAVE FEELINGS TOO!!1!
That senator is a genuine shitcunt.
I went back over the thread and I didn't see you typing anything sane or logical so I don't think I missed anything heck, one of your last posts was this giant heap of shit: Ignoring the stupid "lol i'm way more mature than everyone else" comment at the end, the entire post reeks of putrid ignorance. Do you really, honestly think an animal could have the mental capacity to both understand how a human has sex and also want it? It's not up to everyone else to prove that animals can't consent, it's up to you to prove that animals can. The burden of proof lies on you. You don't have sex with someone until you're absolutely fucking sure the other person consents to it, so until you find me a species of animal that's intelligent enough to write me a fucking essay on sex then you can't assume they can consent. A human child is far more intelligent, and even then it's illegal because they still can't possibly have the maturity and understanding to consent to sex (and rightfully so). There's no possible way for an animal to prove it both understands human sex and wants it, and until you can prove otherwise (you can't), you need to stop trying to be ~edgy~ by defending people who want to stick their dicks in animals.
there was a citation a few pages back on how dolphins have sex for enjoyment, and that they can consent. i don't understand why i have to provide citations for your point lol
there was a citation a few pages back on how dolphins have sex for enjoyment, and that they can consent. i don't understand why i have to provide citations for your point lol
Even if dolphins could have sex for enjoyment it doesn't change the fact that they can't consent to having sex with a human.
Firstly, the country really should have been put in the title. It's not quite as much of a shock as some other threads have been, but I'm just being thorough about it. Anyway,
‘The next step … is having three people that love each other should be able to enter into a permanent union endorsed by society, or four people,’ Bernardi told the Senate.
And what, precisely, is the problem here? They're all human adults, they all consent, they're in as much love as a simple pair of two would be, why the hell not?
I only think you should be aloud to fuck an animal if you can tell for certain that it consents, until then it should remain illegal
I only think you should be aloud to fuck an animal if you can tell for certain that it consents, until then it should remain illegal
so basically it should be illegal forever
The people who support consented animal sex should look at the bigger picture. And ask themselves these questions. "How will the government enforce this rule?" "Which group(s) would do drastic things trying to revoke this rule?" "What would happen if our STDs reach a species of animal? Will this species become wiped out?" "What new STDs will be introduced if we breed with animals?"
Aren't STDs species specific?
Even if dolphins could have sex for enjoyment it doesn't change the fact that they can't consent to having sex with a human.
I think it's fairly certain they have sex for enjoyment. They technically still cannot consent, but I'd say a dolphin trying to rape a swimmer is getting dangerously close to it.
Aren't STDs species specific?
hiv/aids
Aren't STDs species specific?
I did some research and it seems that Human STDs can't be caught by different animals BUT they can still be spread. Also I came across this
Aside from infections, here's something else to consider: it's impossible for animals to consent to sex with humans, and these acts are illegal in most places. If animals become the focus of one's sexual attention and activity, it might be time to call a mental health counselor in your area to explore what's on your mind: concerns, motivations, etc. Have you asked yourself why you might want to have sex with non-human animals? Are there other worries besides STIs that prompted you to send in the question?
