Wouldn't buy anything from ea on steam anyway, all their games are 1$=1€ for me, so buying a game with their fucked up pricing is beyond me. 50euros, lmao
And Valve is bending the consumer over and reaming them up the ass by having the contract the way it is We're not EA or Valve, we shouldn't care who is wronging who here. We should care who is wronging US (currently, it's Valve)
We assume that is what even happened. In the main News Node, we had several pages of debate about this and we honestly cannot see what could have possibly been violated. It wasn't exclusivity, it couldn't be pricing, and it couldn't be DLC. So far, there has been no explanation for what could have been in that contract. In fact, so far, it seems to indicate EA has lied.

Not to mention ea doesn't care much for negative rep and pulling crysis from steam wouldn't impact their rep.

And pulling Crysis 2 would, in theory, lead to the customers who would have used Steam going to another source, ideally Origin.
Oh wow guys grow up, because Valve has a good image does not mean that they are not complete shit like any other company.
Maybe valve got butthurt that bf3 won't be on steam and decided to kick crysis?
Maybe valve got butthurt that bf3 won't be on steam and decided to kick crysis?
That'd be stupid for them, it'd violate any trust Valve would have created with publishers.

Because some people's reactions to this seem to point otherwise.
"some"
"some"
I didn't mean that as an exact number, just a figure of speech. From what I've seen there's a good number of people upset over this, or at least suspicious. We wouldn't be having this conversation if there wasn't.
EA violated it's contract with Steamworks.
Steamworks is a brand name for a set of online services. Last time I checked, only people and companies can violate contracts.

Spicy Horse Games
really?
I like their logo: :byodood:
I lost my original BF2 CD key and I still had the disk, and I asked EA tech support if I could get another key and I could provide proof of purchase to show I had bought the game. They said I'd have to order a new one, which would cost more than I bought it for in the first place. Long story short, I'm not buying BF3 either.

I could borrow a disk from a friend and claim it's mine. I wouldn't give you a new copy either.

Valve: say something!
