Looks like it was heading Yeastbound.
also the junctions it was blocking are literally 10mins from me so i was late to work as most of the traffic flow diverted through Chesterfield, the town i work in.
My journey to work is going from junction 35 - 32, it normally takes 20 minutes, it took 3 and a half hours this morning so I was late too

too dangerous http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-13536479
Uhh, Isn't this a serious threat to local marine life? I mean, it would be a weird pollutant, but if it did get into the watersystem somehow, then wouldn't the yeast take up a lot of oxygen from the water?
So many Americans in here ignorant of Marmite! I get vegemite instead though, apparently it's a lot more bitter than Marmite (although it's on the shelves at the super market, I've only ever had vegemite and promite).
I tried Marmite for the first time a couple of days ago, I almost threw up Instantly
BRB, getting some salted butter and end slices.

Everyone should spread the news.
its called also called vegemite and is found in the US and probably canada too. Marmite is just the british label for it...
Vegemite and Marmite are different.
A very bitter, salty spread, high in iron and yeast.
It's marketed around the "you love it or you hate it" because you genuinely do - I've never met someone who is ambiguous to such a strong taste.
is it like vegamite or whatever it is?
I wish we had marmite in the US so this could happen.
I wish we had marmite in the US so this could happen.
We do. I tried some a few years back. Its like dark brown and looks like tar. I did not enjoy it.
its called also called vegemite and is found in the US and probably canada too. Marmite is just the british label for it...
Vegemite is an Australian version but it's not the same stuff and it's not by the same company. Vegemite is a little bit less bitter than Marmite. Like everything in Australia, it's made from beer by-products.
i read "termite" and i thought "why the fuck would they be carrying 12 tonnes of termites in the first place"

If you get a glob in the dishwasher it gets on fucking everything too.

Vegemite and Marmite are different products. Similar production methods but slightly different tastes
I've never met someone who is ambiguous to such a strong taste.
I neither like or dislike it, and will sample it perhaps thrice yearly.
I'm pretty sure this qualifies as chemical warfare

ARE IMMIGRANTS TO BLAME FOR THE MARMITE SPILL ON THE M1, THIS WOULDN'T HAPPEN IF DIANA WAS STILL HERE!
/Daily Mail headline.
Call in Paddington Bear!
Marmite (Also known as Vegemite in Australia) is quite good on some plain biscuits like Salada's or on just plain bread or toast. As long as you use some butter/margarine with that shit aswell, otherwise it tastes way too salty and awful.
