This actually isn't that uncommon, My dad has ordered Pizza for international flights that get diverted to Duluth because of bad weather and they have to sit for a few hours.
Pilots actually make very little money. [editline]9th July 2014[/editline] at least commercial pilots do.
Low ranking starter pilots that do instructing or fly small corporate planes make very little, yes. But once you have some experience and start flying bigger jets (like this pilot), you make at least 70k a year.
The vegetarian thing sounds like a personal problem, and generally lactose intolerance only results in some gas or a really bad case of diarrhea. I'm developing lactose intolerance and so far I just get stuffy/phlegmy when I drink milk, but it's been getting worse. It makes me sad because I love milk and cheese and cream and all that stuff ):
Look up lactase supplements. They aren't very expensive and is basically just helping you digest the milk and has no effect on your body. Some kinds you just drop into your milk in advance and it breaks up the lactose in the bottle for you.

Reminds me of how people would often order pizza at my highschool when they had a window in their schedule.

Back on topic, That must of been confusing as hell for the passengers, just seeing a fuckton of pizza's come aboard.
i hate it when a room smells like pizza i'd probably hate being on that plane after i was done eating
i hate it when a room smells like pizza i'd probably hate being on that plane after i was done eating
You wouldn't notice the smell.
how much did it cost?
Little Caesers sells large pizzas for $5 a pop, and they're not half bad. But Dominos is $15, and Papa Jons is slightly higher. In my area in Florida, that is
Little Caesers sells large pizzas for $5 a pop, and they're not half bad.
Little Caesar's is fucking vile.

http://www.payscale.com/research/US/Job=Airline_Pilot,_Copilot,_or_Flight_Engineer/Salary
Depends on the airline, plane, and the years of service, and some other things. You make more money at McDonalds than a first year flight officer on a jet does with some US airlines, this one included. But a captain that has 25 years under his belt can make over $100 grand a year The problem is, it costs a lot of money to be a captain, and time. Money total is $150,000-$250,000 to have the experience and time to hopefully get an ATPL yourself without any special programs. Then you need thousands of hours in specific aircraft types, like a multi-engine plane. The only real way to do it is to become an instructor so you at least get paid something while you accumulate the hours
I had dominos delivered to a jetty i pulled up on in my boat they are very accommodating
Little Caesar's is fucking vile.
Pretty good where I live. The one in Nashville was disgusting. Places change, though. Helen Back near me had the best pizza I've ever had when I went. Recently went back and it was the greasiest pile of crap I've ever seen called pizza
For the price Little Caesar's is pretty good, probably the best tasting fast food for the price IMO. $5 Pizza on the other hand is gross
Little Caesers sells large pizzas for $5 a pop, and they're not half bad. But Dominos is $15, and Papa Jons is slightly higher. In my area in Florida, that is
cheeze coated cardboard? also dominos does great deals when you order bulk, they also have tons of discounts to various groups, i can get a large 3 topping for like 5$, the airport probably gets a discount too

Goddamn I miss those little things. Don't see those anymore here.
I literally had my pizza and wings delivered to barn on my birthday. [t]https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpf1/t1.0-9/1601244_10201393502587284_2093245426_n.jpg[/t]
I figured it crashed in the arctic or something and he saved the survivors by ordering it when I read the title.
Pilots actually make very little money. [editline]9th July 2014[/editline] at least commercial pilots do.
Not in the uk, they make quite a bit.
My dad is a pilot for Delta. The most senior captains make well over 200k a year
Pilots actually make very little money. [editline]9th July 2014[/editline] at least commercial pilots do.
Uhm lmao no they don't I mean they don't make as much as doctors but still pretty good on average, close to 70k-100K/yr. Starting off novice pilots do make much less though, closer to $30k-$40k But what other job lets you make a 40K salary but only work half the year? Pilots typically work two weeks out of the month straight (traveling around) and then have two weeks off. This is required for safety/radiation/etc reasons. If you are are an experienced pilot and making $100K/yr at a decent airline, you get to do what you love and have two weeks off every month to actually enjoy that money. Being a bush pilot has its own rewards too. I know someone who is an alaskan bush pilot, he makes pretty decent salary and frequently posts pictures of him on a "break" as his boat plane is parked in the middle of a beautiful alaskan wilderness. Literally a dream job right there.
I figured it crashed in the arctic or something and he saved the survivors by ordering it when I read the title.
"Hi I'd like to order 50 pizzas to be delivered as soon as possible." "Okay, where are they being delivered to?" "The Arctic Circle." "Sir, our restaurant is located in the middle of Oklah-" "I don't care. I'll tip extra"
Those passengers are lucky. Most airplane food tastes like cardboard, this food only came in cardboard.
The thing with airline food is your sense of taste is dulled at that altitude anyway, it probably tastes alright on the ground
Little Caesar's is fucking vile.
pizza is always good even when it's absolute shit it's still pretty good
pizza is always good even when it's absolute shit it's still pretty good
I dunno, most foods can be shit, but there's something just bleak and depressing about a shit pizza.
cheeze coated cardboard?
That's Me-N-Ed's you're thinking of.
I'm too busy wondering about the restrictions, like the airport or whoever is in charge going "...No, you can't just do that. What made you think that was okay?"
I dunno, most foods can be shit, but there's something just bleak and depressing about a shit pizza.
Nothing beats a homemade pizza, though.
Goddamn I miss those little things. Don't see those anymore here.
never seen that, what's its purpose?
