His intentions are good, but his methods are bad.
His intentions are bad and he is forcing children into the situation, as if they are even relevant.
I wonder if the 7-11 by me sells 'em. Then again, I live in New Jersey.
In fact, for actual insomnia, melatonin isn't useful; it's clinical usage is in circadian rhythm disorders.
To put that into more common words, it's like if you get to bed at 4AM and wake up at 2PM and do this for a while, you wouldn't have insomnia, it's just that your sleeping cycle is off. Drugs like Ambien are typically prescribed to get yourself going to bed at a certain time to adjust the internal clock, and eventually the clock stays set and you don't need the pills. People with insomnia severe insomnia wouldn't have their internal clocks set back and they have a hard time falling asleep no matter what. I've struggled a lot with sleeping throughout my whole life and it is difficult to find something that works. I think what is helping now are all the anti seizure drugs I'm on. Ambien didn't put me to sleep, but I have to say that I want some more of that stuff because it is amazing. It's a bit a weird because lower doses have proven to be more effective.
Hey guys, let's ban sex while we're at it to protect the minds of future generations :downs:
they need to stop banning things that are minutely dangerous
Drug legislation is bullshit. The reason that 'legal-weed' is illegal in most states is because Kansas police did 'research' on youtube. Reading comments. Reported their 'findings' to the State, made it illegal and other states followed. While I wouldn't advise using it, I don't think that going on youtube and reading comments is sufficient reasoning to justify banning a substance. Banning melatonin brownies on a single complaint is just about (perhaps more) ridiculous.

They sell these at a local shop right down the road, next to that "Bath Salt" that people smoke and snort, and Spice too.
I wonder what this mayor would do if he was told that pepsi was a gateway drug to crack cocaine because they're both stimulants
Melatonin doesn't really do anything but make you feel a little tired. It doesn't have the ability to put me to sleep, but it will make me feel more tired.
Hey guys, I snorted some coke yesterday. And I stuck some heroin into my veins today. All because of some cakes. SAY NO TO CAKE
GUYS. ENDORPHINES ARE A GATEWAY DRUG TO MARIJUANA. WE MUST AMPUTATE EVERYONE'S PITUITARY GLAND. :black101:
I've been taking melatonin for ages, it's such a mild effect. If you take a bit too much you'll wake up with a pretty nasty hang over, sort of like waking up during REM sleep except it lasts for a long time. The fact anybody could see it as a gateway drug is laughable. There is no high involved at all, unless you consider feeling drowsy and possibly getting a headache being high.
hey man wanna go smoke some brownies back in that alley ~420 smoek brownies erryday~
*coughSOMAcough* Anyone ever read a little book called "A Brave New World"?
Herp derp?
Are they talking about these? My girlfriend picked some up while we were in a smoke shop and it was pretty good.
That is honestly hilarious. This is actually the town over from me, and the only place I've seen them is the liquor store down the street. I only found out these existed a week ago. They do nothing but make you a little drowsy, and even then they're not potent or anything. Lazy Cakes=Stimulant=Drug=Crack This guy is an idiot. "Entice children?" really? The only people I can think would be "enticed" are stoners who think they're sort of funny/are actually pot brownies. Either way, foolish.
I used to take melatonin years ago. Now I inject a mix of heroin and cocaine directly into my eyes daily. CONNECTION?

THESE ARE LEGAL THINGS THAT WE HAVE A CHOICE TO BUY OR NOT ...... THIS GUY PISSES ME OFF
You have to consume so much melatonin for it to even start to be a problem. This is bullshit and he should be ashamed. There are no psychedelic effects to melatonin. I take it when I need to sleep well and all it does is make you slightly drowsy and help keep you asleep.
I love melatonin. I take some a few times a week for sleeplessness. You guys should honestly try some. I will generally fall asleep 20 minutes after taking the pill, no matter how awake I am that night. [editline]16th May 2011[/editline] If I actually want to sleep, that is.
