you can edit the ui xml thingy, make it read only and get rid of the ads found a tutorial on reddit
I did that a week ago because I was getting ads again for some reason, works fine.
Oooh holy shit does anyone else get this bug where, if you set your DP on say your laptop it'll look super good But if you go to say your desktop, it's blurry as shit?
I can tell you why it happens I can also tell you how ridiculous it is Google also does it with their contact images
Yeah. There was a huge shit storm about it a year or 2 ago.
Just to let yall know, you can remove those ads: here Woops, I didn't see that this thread went onto the second page.
Nope. Not Windows 10's fault. I am running it on a Surface, which is a high-DPI screen, which Skype does not support - so my options are either to have the app be absolutely tiny and hard to use (especially with touch), or this blurry mess.
Pretty embarrassing that a Microsoft team doesn't even do this. Hopefully the chat app in Windows 10 will remove the need for a separate Skype app (when it's gonna be ready at least).
I've used the windows 8 app version of skype on my brother's computer, it's like utter shit it's clunky as fuck, It feels like i'm booting up a whole other computer it takes so long to load why can't we have nice things, microsoft?
Am I the only one that had minimal issues with Skype RT? I'll be upset when it goes, since I own a Surface RT, but, ah well. To the people having blur issues: Try going to the .exe's properties, going to 'Compatibility' and ticking the 'Disable display scaling on high DPI settings' button.
