What's worse about cliffracers is that even if you were going 10x normal speed they'd still catch up to you.
If this is true, I'm pretty excited. All the elder scrolls games have been moving forward in time, but it would be really cool to see some of the earlier eras. I'd really like to see the third era (what with tiber septim and all), but the second era would be okay too.
I thought it would be kinda cool to have an MMO where you have all of places to explore. Like Cyrodiil, Mirrorwind, Skyrim, all of Tamriel and some other places. But thats just me.
If they make an MMO it should take place on the entirety of Nirn and Oblivion.

Oblivion is a game, Cyrodiil is the province.
Oblivion is also a ton of planes of existence ruled over by daedric gods. The one in Oblivion was Mehrunes Dagon's plane. Shivering Isles is Sheogorath's, you visit one or two in Skyrim.
Its not going to happen. They said many times before that they wouldn't do it.

Personally, I'd like a co-op elder scrolls instead of a mmo, because playing with friends in a co-op game is fun.

Oops thanks for the correction.
Don't know if it's legit, but it sounds like a fantastic idea. Bethesda has not let me down yet (except for Brink). Every since Morrowind I've heard tons of people say they should make an MMO.
I highly doubt this is true. Bethesda just finished Skyrim and are most likely going to do DLC and move on to the next Fallout.
If this is real, then Bethesda should save the MMO for another time. I want Fallout 4.
I really hope this doesn't happen.
One of the things that I like about Skyrim, or Bethesda RPGs in general, is that it's a game about solitude and doing things alone. It's nice to shape your character as you please, without other people fucking about.
hopefully it wont be a grindy as sin fetch-x-for-me wow-clone
I really don't see how the freedom associated with Elder Scrolls games will translate to an MMO.
ok guys, we have two extremely successful IP's that we can make an MMO out of
one of them is a relatively generic fantasy RPG with spells, swords, bows, etc..
the other is a post-apocalyptic shooter with a unique sense of humor and multiple well developed factions to play off of, and as a note: there's a large demand for a multiplayer feature in this game
lets go with the fantasy RPG, after all the MMO market is really lacking in the fantasy department

i really hope so
if the next fallout is delayed because they want to start doing gimmick development i'm going to go insane
well, both games have incredibly high need for multiplayer, but i agree
To me Fallout seems like it'd be better suited for an MMO. I think TES games just need co-op. That'd satisfy my needs.
I honestly don't see the problem with it.
Not to mention that an MMO is probably as close as we'll get to being able to explore all of Tamriel in the same game.
But lo! TESI:Arena
well, both games have incredibly high need for multiplayer, but i agree
yeah actually that last part was just my preference for fallout seeping out
i think like analannihilator said, TES is better for coop whereas fallout would make more sense for an MMO scenario
I'd prefer an Elder Scrolls mmo to another fallout game. Because we totally need to have another post apocalyptic wasteland. And the fantasy setting in the Elder Scrolls has more of a richer base to it compared to some of the other fantasy games like Fable or warcraft.
I'd honestly like more of Nirn outside of Tamriel. Maybe places like Pyandonea, Esroniet, Thras, Atmora, Aldmeris, maybe Akivir or Cathnoquey.
Well, whatever game they eventually decide to make into an MMO, I don't have a problem with it as long as they don't make you pay an arm and a leg for it and they actually do it right.
so are they hiring competent programmers for this or is it going to be an mmo disaster
Okay what the fuck.
So there's lore developed for places outside of Tamriel?
I'm not a lore freak when it comes to the Elder Scrolls universe but this is shocking information for me.
There's more than you think
As I said above I feel that Fallout would be better suited for an MMO. To me TES seems more like a be your own hero game if that makes sense. One thing that's great about TES games is that you can do whatever you want for the most part. I feel that an MMO might be too restricting on that whole idea. Fallout seems like a better candidate because it's pretty much survival. You're out in a wasteland with thousands of other players and the only objective is to survive the rest is up to you.
They can barely make a functional game with one player. How the hell are they going to pull this off?
I thought Bethesda wanted to make an MMO a long time ago, but decided against it because it would take away from the story telling aspect of their games. Unless they were waiting for the lore to become more established after Skyrim to move on and experiment with MMO.
Oh, we'd all prefer Fallout 4. You'd make more money.
I'll buy it like, 3 times. Okay? I promise.
