Bitch please.
While you're discussing about feral pets let me show you the real boss: I hate this fucking cunt.
I want a Fallout 4.
Most probably using the same engine for SWTOR http://massively.joystiq.com/2007/11/26/zenimax-online-bulks-up-with-heroengine/
Never mind, they can make another fallout mmo. I don't want them ruining Elder Scrolls with that engine.
Eh, I would rather see a Fallout MMO rather than an Elder Scrolls one, but I'm looking forward to it all the same.
http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Project_V13 It was to be set in Seattle. It would have been cool if they recreated the Seattle area since I live here. I would have an advantage.
Eh. The point of TES games is that you are an important and powerful character. If its an MMO and everyone is the main character then it would suck.
I can think of several places where F2P works, although not in MMOs.
The only place where F2P works is when only cosmetic items are sold. Can't think of any other situation.
More khajiit subspecies, please. I'd love to be a Cathay-raht, riding a Senche with an Alfiq pet that shoots mind lightning.
No. It'll be glitchy everywhere. It'll be TORtanic all over again. Get off my /b/
Hmm, I do not know how this would actually look in the finished product. It am very sceptical. I always liked how you could explore the world, there were tons of hidden dungeons and really cool sidequests. Tons of items that could be found somewhere. Random encounters which were interesting. If there would be an MMO about Elder Scrolls, it would loose that kind of detail and atmosphere. Yes the maps could be bigger and more far fetched but the details in the maps are incredible.
No no no, I want fallout 4 first
MMO CYCLE 1. Dev announces they are making a new MMO, people hype it up. 2. Info released, dev says they're trying not to make a WoW clone. In order to do this, they change one factor of the WoW formula. 3. People blindly hype this before beta. 4. Beta comes, game has problems, but "THEYLL PATCH IT!" 5. Game released still has problems, people ignore this due to blind hype, anyone who says anything bad about the game is a TROLL AND HATER. 6. New factor fades, people see the truth, it's just a WoW clone, that one factor wasn't enough. 7. Populations drop sharply, server merges everywhere, people lose hope for the game. 8. Game stagnates for months, very few people playing, enough to sustain few servers. 9. Game eventually dies, players swarm back to WoW. 10. repeat

Though it depends on how massive it is, aka how many players one server has. It would be bad if it was overcrowded though like most other MMOs where main city has so many people sometimes you can't even render them all. But since it's going to be on hero engine prepare for clickity click mmo.
More khajiit subspecies, please. I'd love to be a Cathay-raht, riding a Senche with an Alfiq pet that shoots mind lightning.
khajiit mount for only 15$
nnnnnngh. If they use Skyrim's Combat system I will forever be happy.
Don't bash it before we even have any real info on it. This could very well turn out to be a great step forward in mmo genre. Like I said it COULD. As much as I love there games I can see this going horribly wrong for some reason. But then again it could be something great and I hope it is if it is real.

[editline]16th March 2012[/editline]
And all hopes of it being any good just died. That engine is an abomination, it makes the Gamebyro engine look like a master piece.
Warhammer ran on Gamebryo and it had way way way more issues
Oh sweet god the lore is going to be bumraped I just know it. please no
Does this mean we get to see all the old races and shit. Like the Sloads, Lilmothiit, Dwemer, and Snow elves? If so im playing the shit out of it. [sp]As long as it isnt too expensive and plays like TES games.[/sp]
I would play the shit out of it if it plays almost exactly like Skyrim only with multiplayer and hopefully a bigger world. But knowing all major companies, they will fuck up somewhere.
Please let this not be true. I was hoping that since Obsidian is starting to die, Bethesda would swoop in and hire all of the New Vegas developers, and combine their talent and produce an amazingly done Fallout 4 using the Creation Engine. All my hopes will die if there's a TES MMO.
except FFXIV is getting a huge overhaul that fixes most of its ass backwards problems.
you missed the point of my post
I'm thinking it might be taking place in Akavir, at least partially

I recall them saying "There will not be multiplayer now, or in any future TES games." or something along those lines.
I recall them saying "There will not be multiplayer now, or in any future TES games." or something along those lines.
When I was 5 I said I will be a goat. Baa.
Now... the weapon and skin DLC's will begin and the series will begin to be milked. This is the beginning of the end.
Oblivion really had a horrible engine and the modder was just trying to see if it's prove that it is possible to have some sort of multiplayer on Oblivion, so he never got any further than proving that it's ultimately possible.
The Creation engine isn't much better
Oh, we'd all prefer Fallout 4. You'd make more money. I'll buy it like, 3 times. Okay? I promise.
I'm not normally someone who likes fantasy settings, but the Elder Scrolls, in my opinion, is far superior to the Fallout series. The setting is just a lot less bleak and boring.
