The real question is, do you have a Wii U, and have you never played/finished the original? If yes to both, it'd be a good buy, but otherwise it's not worth buying a Wii U over because it doesn't change or add much. If you have the console and are a die hard Zelda fan then it might be worth your while, just know what you're getting.

I've personally always found Wind Waker HD to be pretty redundant considering how well the game has aged. Thanks to its art, I still think Wind Waker is a great looking game, even ten years later.

Honestly, I don't know. Aside from some increased visual effects that don't really add to the core aesthetic and some relocated triforce pieces I don't think there's much in the way of new content.

If you want to play hi-res Windwaker and you have a decent computer you're probably better off emulating it.

Honestly I'm flabberghasted that they chose Windwaker. Its art doesn't impede the game at any point.
