My fear is it's going to be about iOS Emojis. Everyone knows the Android ones are the best 🤔

I wish the Sony that made bad movies was separate from the Sony who make electronics. It's like an Engineer who is great at his day job, but comes up with these terrible movie ideas.
This sounds kind of dreadful, but I'm sorta curious how (or if) some of the more abstract ones would be represented.

Real question tho when did the world stop calling emoticons... emoticons or emotes? Emoji is the gayest word.

They've changed them in the new Windows builds
Still no gradients though
They started calling them emoji after apple implemented it into ios to appeal to the Japanese market, since they've had pictures in the text system for years.
If you want to be straight forward with it, the difference between an emoji and a emoticon is that one's a part of the charset, the other is an embedded image
I can't remember the technical term for vertical faces though ( c:), it's somewhere on the Unicode website

Any link on what the updated versions look like? My phone did not play well with the windows 10 preview (dropped from a fantastic idling 2 day battery life into 4 hours, shit u not).

The laughing crying emoji there doesn't piss me off at all, which is amazing because the iOS version of it makes me rage when I see it for some reason.

And those 3rd party clients that didn't limit how often you could send nudges, those were great. Being able to put all your messages in yellow comic sans was amazing too.

I like how they want the movie's take away to be about the freedom of self-expression, but the problem I've always had with emoji is that they repress any sincerity that you might have had with a soulless bland face
Who the hell is the person who thought a CIRCLE made with 16x16 pixels would make a good movie?
