That is the biggest irony of them all. The black market is so huge because of civilian firearm proliferation. Not the other way around. I mean look at Britain, where ~criminals~ have to resort to using blanks loaded with ballbearings as bullets. Simply because we don't have factories pumping millions of rounds out every year onto the streets. http://www.economist.com/node/21559646
because you can't have legal guns controlled so that there aren't factories producing so many. Seriously, going to either extreme is retarded.
the media is interviewing the children. fucking disgusting
Statistic. STATISTIC do you fucking understand the concept of that? Blotters are just events every so often, it doesn't prove anything but that it exists.
You've been very abrasive this whole thread, please stop and talk positively anyways, just.... Ages 5-10... wow
If that's the case why aren't there more public mass murders like this in countries where guns are (pretty much) completely illegal?
Because they end up getting creative. In Japan, I remember a guy ran over a ton of people in Tokyo, then got out and stabbed a lot of them when his truck wouldnt move anymore
the media is interviewing the children. fucking disgusting
goddamnit fuck off media
the media is interviewing the children. fucking disgusting
Well, what are they asking? If they're just asking the children what happened and the child appears composed enough to answer, then that doesn't seem disgusting. If they're hounding clearly traumatized children, then they're being fucks.
Well, what are they asking? If they're just asking the children what happened and the child appears composed enough to answer, then that doesn't seem disgusting. If they're hounding clearly traumatized children, then they're being fucks.
theyre kids most of them have no fucking clue what happened and should be at home
Well, what are they asking? If they're just asking the children what happened and the child appears composed enough to answer, then that doesn't seem disgusting. If they're hounding clearly traumatized children, then they're being fucks.
Anything to get ratings~
so wait you just made a very obvious racist statement and you claim you're not you literally just said people of color don't contribute anything to society
No, I said that there are people of color who aren't exemplar citizens. There are also surprisingly white people who aren't exemplar citizens. Stop reading what you want to read.
Because crazy people will use whatever they can get. Take their guns away, they'll use knives. They do it all the time in Asia. Take knives away (In a country like the USA? Unfucking Likely, ever.) Then they'll make knives. Knives are no less dangerous than guns against a crowd of unarmed children, or even adults
So we shouldn't take guns away because they'll always find weapons do cause damage with? That's pretty goddamn terrible thinking to use. Can't win; don't try. Perfect path to follow.
The US is too far into gun culture for gun control to work at this point. Guns are too widespread, gun control at this point in the road just acts to annoy and harass legal law abiding citizens and do practically nothing to criminals.
Fuck...it makes me sad that school shootings happen One of the worst I read about has to be Dunblane
theyre kids most of them have no fucking clue what happened and should be at home
Fair enough. I'm not seeing that same report, so I can't see how it's all going down.
Well, what are they asking? If they're just asking the children what happened and the child appears composed enough to answer, then that doesn't seem disgusting. If they're hounding clearly traumatized children, then they're being fucks.
The shooting just happened, and these are children. The questions are voyeuristic and leading (for the ratings) and no doubt adding to the trauma, and they are gaining ZERO beneficial information from any of them. They can rightly fuck off.

Perfect path to follow.
"take guns away" HOW. ITT: calls for gun control but next to no thought out way to implement it
I'm just wondering how many more shootings like this are going to come as a result of the Republicans retarded austerity fight. Why don't they just stop and fucking realize their stupidity and greed are costing people their lives, and not just the crazy and mentally ill but literally EVERYONE in the country. You guys continue your retarded and meaningless spat over gun control and media intervention, though.
the media is interviewing the children. fucking disgusting
As much as I'd accept an interview request if something were to happen, interviewing a bunch of kids that don't know what they just witnessed is a bit stressful.
So we shouldn't take guns away because they'll always find weapons do cause damage with? That's pretty goddamn terrible thinking to use. Can't win; don't try. Perfect path to follow.
That's not what he's saying. He's saying that even if you do take the guns away, they'll get creative. Like I said in a post last page, sometimes they just end up running people down in a popular street. Are you suggesting that we ban cars down because they're the leading cause of death in developed nations?
Live press conference http://abcnews.go.com/live
The first police briefing ended not too long ago, FYI.
Take their guns away, they'll use knives. They do it all the time in Asia.
no they don't
no they don't
But they do, and regardless how do you take away their guns to begin with?
"take guns away" HOW. ITT: calls for gun control but next to no thought out way to implement it
I'm not saying we should, but I'm saying this bullshit logic of "We shouldn't bother doing anything because crazy people will still cause harm to others" is some of the worst fucking logic I've ever seen.
They typically hound. My sister is a paramedic (christ I say this a lot :v:) and she's had news people try to pull her away from her work at car accidents so they can interview her. And by pull, I mean physically pull her. She's had to get the cops involved a few times. (The officers usually present at accidents).
I know I should feel shocked by this...but I don't. Fuckin' paparazzi. Much as I hate to say it, this Freedom of the Press goes too far sometimes.

Seems like Britain still has a fairly prevalent black market, and then there's it's abysmal track record with knife crime.
Gun control... really guys? I plan on carrying the moment I turn 21 and go through the CPL process. Maybe one day I'll have the opportunity to prevent some sick fuck from pulling shit like this.
BESLAN SCHOOL SHOOTING, 186 CHILDREN SHOT TO FUCKING DEATH AND YOU THINK THEY GOT MUCH AIR TIME? YOU KNOW WHY GANG VIOLENCE HAS GONE DOWN OVER THE LAST 20 YEARS? BECAUSE THEY STOPPED REPORTING IT. fuck. THE PEOPLE DOING THIS SHIT ARE FUCKED IN THE HEAD AND FEEL LIKE THEY ARE FAMOUS AFTER DOING SHIT LIKE THIS. MASS SHOOTINGS AREN'T FUCKING NEW. ITS JUST TRENDY TO TALK ABOUT THEM NOW.
Interesting post from another forum I thought was relevant. The media can really be disgusting when it comes to shit like this
no they don't
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akihabara_massacre

I would never expect that an elementary school would be shot up, most of the time it takes place in a high school.
