I want to see how a kid steals a gun from the security guards belt.
Also, kids shouldn't "fall into routine" in this type of situations. Kids should be able to live in an somewhat innocent enviroment. If you make guns and security something that they're used to see always around them, then we've done something terribly wrong.
We're talking about one step above toddler level type of kids here for fuck sake.
I meant the security guard. The security guard could fall into routine and stop being as alert.
Now we just need to put them everywhere so they can watch over us with their big guns so they can the private citizens with their guns can keep us safe from those other people with their guns.
If everyone has guns then whenever anyone starts shooting a gun in a school they can get shot with a gun and then all of the shooting will stop when everyone knows that the guy who shot his gun has been safely disposed of by having been shot with a gun.

It doesn't, every state except Illinois, and even Illinois will have laws about it next year, have laws allowing citizens to concealed-carry firearms. It doesn't lead to more mass shootings, it doesn't lead to shootouts over fender-benders and parking spaces like the Brady Campaign tries to propagate, and actually the vast majority of mass shootings happen in gun-free zones, where people cannot carry their guns. It's also not vigilantism, it's citizens concerned about their self defence. A vigilante tries to take law and order into their own hands, they go out and try to be cops, a concealed-carry permit holder is concerned about their safety. They don't go looking for crime, they just want to be protected if crime comes to them. They're also not some kind of redneck idiot, in every state except Alaska, Wyoming, Vermont, and Arizona if you want to concealed-carry a gun, you have to undergo a course in the appropriate use of force and a test of your accuracy with your handgun.
There is a huge amount of misconception about CCW in the US, and it's often propagated by people who know noting of the matter and have done absolutely on research into the requirements for such permits, or the arguments in favour of them. Instead, they grossly misinterpret the point of CCW and the arguments by people in favour of it, as well as make up some sort of fictitious scenario that has as of yet never happened between CCW holders about a violent altercation between 2 permit holders over something trivial.
Perhaps you should look up CCW laws before making a mockery of them, elsewise you just look immature and ignorant.
That's not what anyone wants. Stop being silly.
It's literally what these people think is the best way for our society to run. They want to create a society where crime is kept in check by the omnipresence of firearms; by the perpetual looming threat of violent reprisal to be dispensed by private citizens at the drop of the hat.
This is what Stand Your Ground and Castle Doctrime laws are; this is the fantasy of school shootings being stopped by the conveniently placed counter-strike pro who lands nothing but headshots on any spree shooters they see.
I meant the security guard. The security guard could fall into routine and stop being as alert.
Could easily happen, maybe not even taking it off his belt, what about forgetting to lock the room the weapons are stored in? Everyone makes mistakes

So wait the first guy got banned for posting the animated video yet the guy who posted the video of the pastor making an 'unfavorable opinion' doesn't get banned?

If I interpreted this mass of sarcasm correctly, that sounds pretty rad
The guy with the gun gets shot by another guy with a gun, and the only person who dies is the person who wanted to kill children
as opposed to your fantasy idea of having the entire country take mental health tests?
We ensure the entire country is vaccinated and provided with hospital care as best as we can, why can we not go on to begin to treat the fundamental origin of 90% + of society's problems? Mental health is as real as cardiovascular or neurological health, and it shouldn't be disregarded because it's complicated to treat. It used to be considered impossible that surgeons or doctors would ever operate on the head, chest, or abdomen. The same advances can help in the messy field of mental health.
I meant the security guard. The security guard could fall into routine and stop being as alert.
Point still stands.
Kids shouldn't be forced into learning to fear something so fatal at that age.
"Mommy, why is there a man with a gun at school?"
"So that he can kill the bad boy who wants to kill you"
How about a big scoop of the good ol' NOPE at that one.
as opposed to your fantasy idea of having the entire country take mental health tests?
How about just have anyone who wants a gun take mental health tests.
I meant the security guard. The security guard could fall into routine and stop being as alert.
He's going to notice someone trying to steal a gun off his holster on his hip, it takes a fair bit of force to extract a gun from a modern holster, it's not like the guard is going to become so desensitized he won't notice someone trying to steal something on his hip by them yanking at it.
So wait the first guy got banned for posting the animated video yet the guy who posted the video of the pastor making an 'unfavorable opinion' doesn't get banned?
Wow, you're silly.
The pastor video was relevant to the situation, the other was just shitposting.
How about just have anyone who wants a gun take mental health tests?
And what if the illness develops after the gun is purchased?
So wait the first guy got banned for posting the animated video yet the guy who posted the video of the pastor making an 'unfavorable opinion' doesn't get banned?
smurfy was pointing out the stupidity of the second video.
Is Obama crying? D:

Can you even tell the difference? The first video that was posted wasn't funny and mocked what happened. The second video was only posted to show how dumb can people be.
Jesus christ did people really lose the capacity of thinking?

Did you just make a new account to be a retard for one moment?
Is Obama crying? D:
He wept a bit.
How about just have anyone who wants a gun take mental health tests?
Mental health can degenerate. Doesn't mean that the owner is a law abiding, good mannered and sane individual to the day he dies if he's declared "good to go" at one point.
Wow, you're silly.

It was an animated video referencing school shooting and media hype yet its shit posting?

'wow'

I would think that the kid would learn to fear the bad boy because the bad boy will always be out there
Kids don't fear police officers just because they carry a gun as well
If I interpreted this mass of sarcasm correctly, that sounds pretty rad

Then the guy who shot him gets shot since, in the chaos of a school shooting situation, it is unclear who the original shooter was, and then all of the sudden everyone is fucking shooting each other. It would be chaos.
In a busy school with gunshots going off you better fucking believe that clear communication is going to be impossible.
I honestly can't imagine sitting in class one second, and being dead or injured the next. Just like looking at the board, and then blackness without knowing what just happened....
And the parents as well. Christmas is meant to be a time for getting together with the family and having a good time, not arranging your child's funeral and trying to rebuild your life. For fucks sake, this has ruined my entire week, and I hope that the parents and survivors know that they have absolutely everyone's sympathy.
And what if the illness develops after the gun is purchased?
Seriously we are just going to wave this away with "what if"?
Doesn't change the fact that required mental health screening will help immensely compared to doing nothing and pretending the problem will just go away on it's own.

Shut up and go to sleep. You clearly forgot to take vitamin C this morning.

Yeah, I agree, i was trying to defend your point too.
But I don't think the kids wouldn't fear the gun, if anything, I think they'd just grow used to having guns around.

Except the media does the same thing anyways to kids, "Guns are evil and kill people, you should be terrified of anyone with a gun."
"Mommy, doesn't daddy have a gun for duck hunting?"
"Yes"
"Why is daddy evil mommy? The newsman said anyone who has guns is evil and crazy."
Fear and sensationalism is what the media thrives on, and its worst effects are on children, who are naive and easily influenced.
Mental health can degenerate. Doesn't mean that the owner is a law abiding, good mannered and sane individual to the day he dies if he's declared "good to go" at one point.
But it would catch the ones with giant fucking red flags coming out of their ears. Once again the anti-control argument is that if it won't miraculously fix every aspect of the problem, that it isn't worth doing.
Shut up and go to sleep. You clearly forgot to take vitamin C this morning.
Just because I shit on the stupid point you were trying to make I should shut up?
How about you learn to actually understand stuff that is posted in here.

Except diagnosing a mental illness isn't as simple as just swabbing the inside of your mouth

Why should a kid constantly fear the bad boy at an age that mainly consists of playing with friends and having a jolly time?
Way to take the innocence of childhood away.
