So you're saying that because you dislikes someones lifestyle, they should be confined to their homes? Ostracized, alienated by their own peers because they share a different standpoint? Do you realize, once you start smoking.. you're addicted forever. No, you can quit.. but it lingers with you till you die. Most go back to it, within 5-20 years of quitting.
I believe there is an amendment off the lines that the freedoms of the majority should not impede on the rest.
Smoking is bad, but freedom of choice is good.
Freedom of choice doesn't mean you allow only what your preferences dictate is ok.
I smoke occasionally with full knowledge that it is bad, but not life destroying or anything. Tobacco, like alcohol is enjoyable, but is destructive when abused ie: taken in excess or when one is dependent on the substances.
If you smoke in moderation or on occasion, you should be fine unless you have a sensitivity. Legislation is because of the fuckwits out there who abuse tobacco.
