To be perfectly honest , I loved infiniminer and still do. Although minecraft has thrown it into obscurity , nothing could make the memories of running down a corridor with your mates after accidentally hitting a magma stream and fucking everything over be forgetton. Good times.... Infiniminer will always have superior mulitplayer
Infiniminer still has one thing Minecraft doesn't: an objective. And jump pads :buddy:
Where is that notch uses infiniminer code again? I thought that it was just a rumor. Besides infiniminer and minecraft don't seem all that similar to me. They have blocks and thats about it.
At the start of minecraft they were a lot more similar but it has since developed into It's own game.
At least he acknowleges that it happens.
infiniminer was literally the fucking shit. when i'm playing minecraft and building inside a cave, i still half expect the world to stop like it does on infiniminer. (for those of those who don't understand infiniminer was basically what minecraft classic was like)

I don't feel sorry for him, cause I think I remember a while back when I heard Zach got pissed at notch for taking his idea, and then he was going to try to sue him but he couldn't get much together and failed trying to prepare for the case at all..
Not a bad idea, If he worked on heavily-content orientated stuff while Notch worked on mostly back-end stuff, it could work out. But probably not because Zach doesn't live in Sweden.
He could use someone to work on minecraft when notch is not awake. So that fans can stop peeing themselves whenever he doesn't reply on twitter.
He could use someone to work on minecraft when notch is not awake. notch shouldn't hire him, he should offer him a significant portion of stock in his company or just give him some cash
The guy pretty much handed over the source code which is what ruined him. I wouldn't hire him if I was Notch. I wouldn't give him anything to be honest with you, and I know Notch probably won't.
You don't just offer people jobs because you feel sorry for them. What kind of business would that be? Especially in the field of game design, you need the right people for the type of game you're making. It would be just kind of weird if Notch hired him just because the games are kind of similar.

I assume he and Notch are good friends.
And then all the idiots would say "OMG MINECRAFT RIP-OFF!!" in response. That would be really discouraging for me if I was a game developer.
Then instead of new game it will be called an update.
i remember when i played infiniminer then i heard about minecraft, tried it, didn't like it tbh i liked infiniminer more and I would continue to play if there were more servers notch should go hire this guy make minecraft not in java then my computer is happier
I remember back in the day I said, "So it's an infiniminer copy that you have to pay for? That's stupid. That'll never catch on." Boy was I wrong.
And then all the idiots would say "OMG MINECRAFT RIP-OFF!!" in response. That would be really discouraging for me if I was a game developer.
It sounds like this all happened before Minecraft became popular.
I played infiminer before minecraft was pretty boring compared to minecraft
I'd buy this guy lunch if I could. :(
He's like the Pete Best of videogames. It's good that he isn't planning an elaborate plan to kill Notch, though.
He's like the Pete Best of videogames. It's good that he isn't planning an elaborate plan to kill Notch, though.
The first thing I would do if I was going to elaborately kill somebody would be to tell people I have no hard feelings against him.
