107 games revealed ahead of HTC Vive pre-order launch

I checked the Vive website just out of curiosity and saw that the pre-order's will go live in a couple hours. So looks like I'm not going to bed now.
I figure this is a good choice. It's got SteamVR behind. The two screens are 1080p so the screen door effect should be gone (my biggest complaint when I tried it at PAX on Oculus) and when I tried GearVR it wasn't bad even using an Android phone so I'm confident the Vive will be sweet.
Plus a good line-up of games on launch. I look at it as buying a new console. People go out and buy the newest Xbox One or PS4 these days for $400 or what not and I've never had interest. As far as I'm concerned consoles are dead and VR platforms will take their place. It's the same to me as buying both an Xbox and PS4 cost wise (which a lot of people already do)
Getting a VR device between the two is like getting an NES or SEGA. They were expensive too when they first came out but new tech always is and if we don't start somewhere than it won't go anywhere. Without buying the comparatively primitive consoles first we wouldn't be where we are today.
I think I'd actually enjoy a Vive a lot. It's like an Oculus with more features. But if anyone wants to try to talk me out of $800 in three hours feel free.

tilt brush looks really cool
I, for one, have no interest in VR and hope that it dies. It's a shame that Valve has decided VR is its new gimmick and any new games they put out will be VR-centric.
Go away. How can you not be excited for "BUTTS"?
