http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-23620775
The Irish edition of the Sun newspaper has dropped pictures of topless women from its Page Three, replacing them with shots of women in swimwear. The editor of the Murdoch-owned paper, Paul Clarkson, said the decision was taken because of "cultural differences" between the UK and Ireland. In June, The Sun's UK editor David Dinsmore said the paper would continue to print pictures of Page Three girls.
BTW check out this guy's funny joke
Clarkson, who became editor of the Irish Sun last October said: "Page Three is a hugely popular pillar of The Sun in the UK and part of a package of great journalism which engages, entertains and informs in equal measure.
And The Sun sales plummet.
with this and the sun website paywall its like they're trying to kill the newspaper which i have no problem with personally
I think this whole turn-around on pornography is abit silly, it used to be soft-core stuff like swimwear and they changed it to either topless or entirely nude, going back now will piss alot of people off and Cama-moron wants to do this to all magazines\newspapers that appear in shops.

I know Tesco and the Co-op are covering up the covers but haven't seen Cameron saying anything about it
To be honest it is kind of obsolete.

As a US citizen what does this mean
As a US citizen what does this mean
Unless they sell the Irish version of the Sun in the US, then fuck all.
As a US citizen what does this mean
no more tits trogdog
As a US citizen what does this mean
The Sun is a tabloid owed by News Corp, the same company that runs Fox News in America. By removing the partially naked women from the third page of the paper (about the only thing anyone can like about it), they'll hopefully be running it into the ground.
Ca-moron, surely?
Camerwrong
Clarkson, who became editor of the Irish Sun last October said: "Page Three is a hugely popular pillar of The Sun in the UK and part of a package of great journalism which engages, entertains and informs in equal measure.
haha
haha
He's right though, Peta 23 from Essex says so.
I personally love the "News In Breifs" section above the girls. It's so dumb and closed-minded I want to kill myself.
no more tits trogdog
:(
