lol
so you would murder a child because he was throwing a fucking rock at you.
[editline]06:15AM[/editline]
what a fine young man you are
It's not hard to kill someone with a rock.
[editline]10:23PM[/editline]
But in the first place, who throws a rock at a guy with a gun?
Stupid kids.
The guy is a grown man and was not close, I don't think the cops life was in total danger.
I love people who justify lethal force against petty actions.
:rolleye:

No.
Grown man or not, a good sized rock in the right spot will drop you like a fucking sack of potatoes. Read the article; he was under attack from multiple assailants. Multiple rocks flying through the air increases your chances of getting struck in the head. Not to mention the officer issued a verbal warning before firing. There is no way you can swing this to your favor. The kid was an idiot, took a chance and lost. The officer is not a "murderer," as he did not just pop the kid the moment he saw him. The kid and the group he was with attacked the officer, and he responded.
That's all there is to it. Unfortunate for the kid, but again - he gambled and he lost.

This.
What's next, you're gonna say shooting at a man charging with a knife is excessive force? There simply is no argument.
oh hey, a kid is throwing shit at me, let me fucking blow his brains out.
you are an authoritarian apologist.
oh hey a bunch of kids are slinging fucking jagged chunks of stone at me ow fuck god fucking damn shit help they're gonna kill me oh shit fuck stop I said stop i'm gonna fucking shoot you psychotic fucks
oh USA, wht hev u been doing? tsk tsk
I hate people who blame entire countries for one persons doing.
Jesus christ what's with all the jumpy border guards lately?

So the officer HAS to stay there and get rocks thrown at him, or murder them
and yes, it IS murder you fucking lunatic.

you're comparing a teenager throwing rocks to a guy charging at you with a knife
ok, glad to see your head is in the game, champ.

You didn't answer my question.
you are quite the humanitarian, aren't you?
so the only option to getting stones thrown at you is... blow a fucking hole in the child's head.
From the sound of the article, the officer was surrounded.
He was probably just trying to fire off a few warning shots or something but ended up hitting a kid in the head.
There are countless ways to interpret the article.
[editline]03:22PM[/editline]
Hell for all the article tells us the officer could've decided "fuck mexicans I'm going to shoot the first prick that messes with me"
that's quite the accomplishment.
Not warning shot like into the air but warning shot as in next to someone.
A stone could've jerked his aim a little up and to the right and his barrel's no longer past his shoulder.
From the sound of the article, the officer was surrounded.
he wasn't surrounded
that was a bullshit claim, and they even said it was a "poor choice of words."

Oh hey glad to see you're just throwing insults and pulling a strawman. You really showed me!!!!
So I assume you were at the scene and saw it all happen? The news report doesn't describe everything in depth to make such presumptions. What it does say is that there were multiple assailants who had him surrounded, and were throwing and pelting him with rocks non-stop even after he issued a verbal warning. He had no way to get out, and his life was in imminent danger. He responded with lethal force in return. Just tell me how exactly what he did was wrong. Preferrably without just swearing at me and ignoring my arguement or exaggerating it to make it seem ridiculous.
Yes, I am comparing a group of teenager throwing rocks to someone charging with a knife because they can both kill you. The former with the surprising amount of ease.

Odd, after reading through the news report literally several times, I can't find any mention of that whatsoever.
A federal law enforcement official told CNN that the FBI's use of the word "surrounded," was "probably not the best choice of words," and that it is more accurate to say that people were nearby throwing rocks.
The rest is just fluff, if you can't research the story, then why should I listen to your point?
and the knife analogy is just retarded.
The teen was shot during a rock-throwing incident, Mexican and U.S. officials said.
That's all I needed to read. Its common sense not to attack someone with a gun.
That's all I needed to read. Its common sense not to attack someone with a gun.
shooting someone in the head because they're throwing rocks at you is excessive force
and you drew a conclusion from one sentence? lol

Personal insults, brilliant.
Get over it. Guy's dead cause he fucked up. I would hardly call him a child anymore either; he was more than old enough to make his own decisions. He made a bad one and paid the consequences. You don't assault a man with a firearm. If you think it's fine and dandy to do that and don't expect to get shot in return, then something is wrong with you.

yeah, he made a mistake, but that doesn't justify shooting him in the head. he was throwing rocks at the agent. the agent was NOT surrounded. why couldn't the agent back off or use non lethal force? shooting a person in the head for throwing rocks?
just because he has a firearm doesn't mean he can just shoot whoever he wants.
uh oh i should have known trotsky would appear and go "all americans are murderers all guns should be banned" because of one man's fuckup.
uh oh i should have known trotsky would appear and go "all americans are murderers all guns should be banned" because of one man's fuckup.
...right, lets review this
where did I say:
A: All American's are murderers
B: All guns should be banned
C: Pinned this on anyone BUT the border guard
lol, you are a fucking joke.
[editline]03:34AM[/editline]
You can make some unregistered claims, and i've heard them. But that's a fucking strawman and a half there.
[editline]03:35AM[/editline]
my guess is, you didn't READ the argument. I didn't even SAY American's, guns or fucking talk about banning anything. Are you mentally retarded?
oh USA, wht hev u been doing? tsk tsk
because one american represents an entire nation
because one american represents an entire nation
Sgtcrazywhatthefuckeveryourname is, complain about that guy, revrend_slapaho, he's the fucking one who said that.
[editline]03:38AM[/editline]
I don't even think I said the word gun, and if I did, it certainly wasn't plural.
Don't throw rocks. dumbass.
sgtnumberinname, please tell me where i said that?
[editline]03:41AM[/editline]
seriously, I'm really interested.

NO! Don't bring this 4chan implying bullshit into facepunch.
U.S. agents have no jurisdiction across the border though right? so why would they listen to them? Anyway, one thing is shooting someone to save yourself but having the choice to leave the area kind of makes the U.S. Agent look bad. Sure rocks can cause damage but there was no excuse for the agent to shoot.
Also, another thing that is important to know, did the guard have any other weapons e.g tazer, pepper spray?
