They're doing the final absolute true battle now after well over a year of several final bosses in a row in the stupidest way ever [sp]Sasuke was evil all along, who knew, true big bad of the series was sealed away and the big asshole everyone thought was the big bad got fucked over, so now Naruto and Sasuke are gonna end the series in a one-on-one fight finally[/sp]. But there's going to be an OVA epilogue that details what happened after two years past the manga's ending apparently. And characters are showing up with finalized timeskip designs for it, including [sp]both Naruto and Sasuke themselves,[/sp] so it's pretty much spoilering part of the ending anyway just by existing.

I dunno, I feel like I'm kinda gonna miss Naruto. Some of the fights were really entertaining and I enjoyed it's aesthetic at times. I feel as if nobody ever really gave Shippuden enough of a chance.

Naruto was my first anime. I watched it when I was like, 10. Never finished it, though. Even though there's way better anime, I have to say, it's kind of sad to see it go. I like sitting down and enjoying anime here and there, and Shippuden was actually a comparable, not shitty series compared to the introduction anime that Toonami originally showed. And once Shippuden started lagging behind I decided I'd read the mangas and stay up to date. Only manga I've ever read actually. It's a bit sad to see it end, but good at the same time.

The 500+ episodes of the anime are a bit much for me but I wouldn't mind one day getting some sort of condensed adaption, maybe similar to the length of FMA:B. There's also going to be a last movie which is basically Part 3. I really hope they do it justice.

This is one of those things where the fans really taint the image of the series. It is a pretty solid series as a whole, if you ignore the "community". Childish and wacky at times, sure, but it is a kids series after all.

I predict a retcon.

I found Aizens plan to get into the Royal Palace very stupid by sacrificing his entire army, and when he merges with the hogyoku he starts to dick around. However Juha Bach (the King/emperor) of the quincy has so far been a way better villain than Aizen. Invading the seireitei twice killing his rival, and invading the Royal Palace. Plus he has an interesting backstory, and relation to Ichigo.[/sp]

People say it's still pretty solid for what it is, but it's simultaneously still taking over a decade of its sweet time in some respects.

it's gonna suck. Naruto is my favorite anime, but in terms of other good anime, AoT season 2 and Bleach's last arc will get anime adaptions in the next year or 2. so even when naruto ends, there'll always be better anime. naruto may be my favorite, but it's not the best. still enjoyable
