Mosul: Continuing its regime of unbridled horror, ISIS jihadis have executed 19 Yezidi girls who refused to be sex slaves by burning them alive inside iron cages, news site ARA News reported.
The victims were taken hostage by the terror group to be used as sex slaves, but were put to death in Mosul for refusing to have sex with the militants.
The victims were set ablaze in the centre of MOSUL on Thursday in front of a large crowd, ARA News reported, citing activists and witnesses.
"They were punished for refusing to have sex with IS militants," media activist Abdullah al-Malla was quoted as telling ARA News.
"The 19 girls were burned to death while hundreds of people were watching. Nobody could do anything to save them from the brutal punishment," a witness said.

Islamic State militants have burned to death 19 young Yazidi women in Mosul for refusing to have sex with jihadists, ARA News reports.
Eyewitnesses reportedly told the site that the women were forced into iron cages and set alight on June 2 as a crowd of hundreds watched on.
The incident was said to be a punishment for the women, who had been taken as sex slaves by ISIS.
"The 19 girls were burned to death, while hundreds of people were watching. Nobody could do anything to save them from the brutal punishment," an eyewitness told ARA News from Mosul, an ISIS stronghold that was captured two years ago.
Thousands of women and girls were abducted by ISIS militants when the jihadist group invaded the Sinjar region in northern Iraq in August 2014. Hundreds of civilians were slaughtered and more than 400,000 forced to flee. Around 5,000 were taken captive, 3,000 of whom are believed to remain hostage.
I don't have words for my disgust.
Fucking disgusting.
Holy shit.
To think that this kinda shit is okay in their society...
Have sex with them? Adultery and thus a crime, see the recent Dutch woman.
Don't have sex with them? Crime.
How does this even work.

In that particular culture, only women are capable of adultery. Even had these girls consented to be sex slaves, they'd likely have been executed for it anyway.
To be honest, barring lucky circumstances, once ISIS had their hands on the girls they were effectively doomed to either horrific lives under their thumb or death at that point. It's extremely fucked that even despite practically killing one another out of paranoia they still have plenty enough power to destroy and kill as they please.
Well apparently they have twisted the quran to make it fit the narrative.
According to the peaceful religion's law it is fine for jihadists to have sex slaves.
Not sure it mentions burning them alive though.

You just had to didn't you
And this is the place where young adults are over the world are defecting to.

ISIS is a terrorist group that rules through violence and fear, the territories they conquer and occupy are unwilling participants in a horrifying military theocracy. It's not that this shit is approved of or tolerated for the people living under their rule, it is simply that they are essentially powerless to stop it.
They are literal medieval savages.
This is basically the Dark Ages of Islam in the Middle East. And ISIS is the Inquisition.
it hasnt been a very good year overall for the world has it?
“The 19 girls were burned to death, while hundreds of people were watching. Nobody could do anything to save them from the brutal punishment,” an eyewitness told ARA News in Mosul.
How horrible it must be to be ruled over by a terrorist group like ISIS. if you were to call these despicable actions out, you and your family pay the price as well.
Slave part is important. Like slaves are "allowed" to go unveiled by their rules. A while back QA like documents was leaked that gave me the idea that they weren't human and so didn't have to follow (or applied to them) some of the Islamic laws the force unto others.
This and the veil, along with a few other sexist things like women becoming "dirty" and "less valuable" from sex go right back to assyrian law codes. The veil was introduced to "protect dignity" and "preserve virtue", prostitutes and slaves wearing veils could be punished by death. Funny, that same bullshit has survived for 1000s of years veils to indictate virtue are still used in Islam and Christianity, sex is still a taboo subject, women are still seen (by many) below men.

They're utter savages tbh

Thats not what the data would support, take a look at the study from pew research http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2015/12/07/muslims-and-islam-key-findings-in-the-u-s-and-around-the-world/ A majority of Muslims are in favor of Sharia Law which is fine with killing.

The way the Quran paints it is pretty twisted. Supposedly, the warriors who attack and capture the women's homeland are doing them a favour by taking them into their household and looking after them. The caveat is that they are fair game for the man to sleep with. It's fucked up.
They try to justify it by saying shit like "She has no home, no husband (he was most likely killed in the fighting). I take her into my home and feed her, clothe her, protect her. It's my right to sleep with her".
But then again, this is ISIS and they cherry pick everything. Killing people via burning is so wrong. It explicitly states in the Quran that people who die by drowning, fire or being crushed by buildings go straight to Heaven. Probably because they're such awful fucking ways to go. So it just goes to show that ISIS really aren't religious fanatics. They're just butchers and murderers who use religion as a way to entice the ignorant and evil into their ranks, who inevitably end up committing horrendous atrocities, but they have a clear conscience because they believe what they're doing is right.

What kind of killing?
Why do you quote this article yet you leave out that 90+% of Muslims say religious freedom is a good thing?
http://www.pewforum.org/2013/04/30/the-worlds-muslims-religion-politics-society-overview/
Also the article you linked leaves out some really important contexts
Moreover, Muslims are not equally comfortable with all aspects of sharia: While most favor using religious law in family and property disputes, fewer support the application of severe punishments – such as whippings or cutting off hands – in criminal cases. The survey also shows that Muslims differ widely in how they interpret certain aspects of sharia, including whether divorce and family planning are morally acceptable.
It's available on the report the other once cites

Even if you had nothing to lose like some sort of fantasy hollywood action hero daredevil, they'd just promptly open fire on everyone around them and take as many people as they could in the process. There's no winning with ISIS, even if they lose they'll assure many lives are coming with them.

I wouldn't put it past them to rewrite that bit from the qur'an to fit their narrative as well.
However it's incorrect to not define ISIS as anything other than religious fanatics, since the definition is basically uncritical zeal, especially with the level of obsession that ISIS have demonstrated. Their devotion is to an extremist sect of Islam (Wahhabism) but they took it even farther by acting in ways that nobody else dared to do before, such as their open claim of rewriting the religious book, which is basically in and of itself a serious charge of apostasy, contradicting the Fiqh that states:
You shall not revile, deny, doubt or mock any verse of the Quran, or the religion of Islam;
But I do basically agree with everything else you've written.
I'm not familiar with Wahhabism, despite growing up in a Sunni family. It just always boggled my mind hearing the shit they did to their captors. Torture, grisly killings, rape? It's all expressly prohibited in the Quran. As barbaric as it sounds, there's a defined and written out way to deal with captors of war / criminals. It sure as hell doesn't involve death by drowing, or being run over by a tank, or getting pushed off of a building.

The interpretation and implementation of Sharia law varies between different groups and cultures. Supporting Sharia law does NOT in any way mean that you support the most extreme interpretations of it, and ISIS's interpretation is as extreme as it gets, and woah hey wait a second check this shit out
Recent surveys show that most people in several countries with significant Muslim populations have an unfavorable view of ISIS, including virtually all respondents in Lebanon and 94% in Jordan.

[...]in Lebanon, a victim of one of the most recent attacks, almost every person surveyed who gave an opinion had an unfavorable view of ISIS, including 99% with a very unfavorable opinion. Distaste toward ISIS was shared by Lebanese Sunni Muslims (98% unfavorable) and 100% of Shia Muslims and Lebanese Christians.
Israelis (97%) and Jordanians (94%) were also strongly opposed to ISIS as of spring 2015, including 91% of Israeli Arabs. And 84% in the Palestinian territories had a negative view of ISIS, both in the Gaza Strip (92%) and the West Bank (79%).
So pretty much the only people who like ISIS and their ideas are their own brainwashed members.
Good. But I really hope there is an end to them, somewhere down the line, and soon.

The only way that would happen is if there is a unified effort by Islamic governments to military combat them. America should put pressure on Iran and Arabi for this to happen.
