same exact logic then don't go outside because someone MIGHT shoot and or rob you :downs:
No, its not the same logic. I never said don't. You still aren't reading properly. I still drive, knowing I might die in a car accident. That falls down to individual preference. Are the potential benefits worth the potential risks? We make these decisions unconsciously every moment of our life. We really only become aware of them when the risks and/or benefits become great enough.
Agreed 100%. It doesn't matter if you didn't want to help keep her from offing herself, don't disgrace her by taking pictures of it.
Last I checked taking a picture was not a disgraceful thing to do.
i'm going to come to your house and kill you, i'll get off scott free because its your fault anyways
I live in a shitty neighborhood. I heard someone fire off a gun five times last night, and about a week ago, two houses on the street behind my house were firebombed. The crime is so bad that the police actually patrol by air in a helicopter every night, and have a mobile command center built in to an old truck that moves around at street level. The chances are pretty high that I'll die here. Ohh, and you still aren't reading. You're still missing what I'm saying completely.
The chances are pretty high that I'll die here.
this is just paranoia you don't live in somalia [editline]12:33AM[/editline]
No, its not the same logic. I never said don't.
so if someone goes out to get in their car, and they get shot, it's their fault right
this is just paranoia you don't live in somalia
My city has one of the highest murder rates in the nation. Its hardly paranoia.
what IS your point? [editline]05:36AM[/editline] Not defending Zeddy, but as a person who lives in a pretty shitty area, I can really relate to Zeddy regarding this, my area, ballymun, has the highest crime rates in Dublin. Paranoia is understandable.
My city has one of the highest murder rates in the nation. Its hardly paranoia.
name what city you live in

You have no argument. :colbert:
so if someone goes out to get in their car, and they get shot, it's their fault right
Have you actually read what I've been saying? I've shown before how that is not in any way what I am saying. At this point, you're branching in to trolling, so I'm going to disengage myself from this and just let you do your thing. My point has been stated clearly, and I've said what I've felt needs to be said, I have no further reason to continue.
And you still go outside knowing someone could come along and shoot you because you looked at them funny, but you don't even give it a second thought, you just do it. You have no argument. :colbert:
his argument is if anything bad happens to you it's your fault
I STILL don't know what your point is.
his point is apparently if someone does something wrong its their fault if someone gets shot its their fault if someone dies it their fault if someone goes on a killing spree its the victims fault for being there
What the shit is a car park
What the shit is a car park
parking lot
name what city you live in
Because it is relevant to my statement and you posted while I was typing my previous post, I'll give you and the others one more reply. I live in Birmingham, Alabama, which has continuously had one of the highest murder rates in the nation.
what IS your point?
That we accept the consequences of our actions (read that I haven't said that a person is by any means always or even often responsible if they occur, just that we accept them.)
And you still go outside knowing someone could come along and shoot you because you looked at them funny, but you don't even give it a second thought, you just do it. You have no argument. :colbert:
Not that I don't give my decisions a second thought, just that the potential benefits out-weigh the potential risks. And sometimes, the potential risks out-weight the potential benefits, in which case I don't act.
Its her right.
Wrong, my friend it is not your right to commit suicide. It is the most selfish thing you can possibly do. In doing so you completely take everyone else out of the picture, your parents, how do you think they are going to live knowing that their daughter committed suicide. She completely disrespected the love that they gave her by throwing 15 years or their life away, and then ruined the rest of their life because now they have to live with the fact that she's dead. Also what about her other family members, does she really think that it's her right to destroy the lives of her whole family. How can someone fully recover from that. They can't. I have to say that i strongly think that committing suicide is not your right, you're not the one that has to deal with it, you're dead, it's everyone else that is now suffering.
Seriously, why the fuck would you want to take picture of a young girl dying?
:hitler::fh:
that's like saying that it's selfish to get cancer
Not at all, you can't help getting cancer, you choose to go to the roof of a building and jump. You don't say to yourself "Oh, i think I'm going to infect myself with cancer today to kill myself." Well you can help it, in ways of preventing it, but no one chooses to get cancer.
parking lot
Ok. Damn British and American English always being different. :argh:
so many dumb fucks in here

Not everyone who's depressed has this though, most of the time it's a psychological thing, and those people tend not to off themselves. Saying this girl killed herself because of bullying and a break up is pretty much a scapegoat. She probably perceives little things and isolated incidents as a giant inescapable hatred from everyone, and it's not really her fault.

It is her fault, no one put a gun to her head and said jump, she wanted to, she was selfish and took the easy way out.
internet tough guys everywhere

I still think the right to death is still a right.

But as you said, it can be avoided.
so many dumb fucks in here

You're a coroner, nobody gives a fuck about what you think. I sure wish I got paid to declare people as dead.
lol aren't you that fuck who suggested that the government collect child porn and sell them to pedos?
It's selfish to dictate whether or not somebody should kill themselves. It's their life, not yours.
Humans are not self-contained little boxes. We all have friends, fathers, mothers, colleagues, etc. [editline]10:13AM[/editline]
My city has one of the highest murder rates in the nation.
This story rings too close to home for me, minus the boyfriend part. Bullying :sigh:
:sympathy:
