USA represent. Clearly we suck compared to the UK, isn't it obvious?
The US rightfully belongs to Britain
I assume that's Canada you're speaking of?
yeah...
We all know Nick Griffin is a wanna be Adam Sutler so we can just ignore him and the whole BNP.
Not surprised really, fucking country is full of shit, I once lived in a nice apartment, real clean and all, too bad the stars that lead me to my door were filled with piss. Pollution in Hackney is high too, couldn't open a single window. And then there are fucking cunts roaming the streets. [editline]11:50PM[/editline] But the UK is still a fantastic place.
Yeah barely being able to open your windows and a bunch of assholes on the streets sounds fantastic, like Disney land. [sp]/sarcasm[/sp] [editline]11:18PM[/editline] I like how US is in 7th place and the UK is in 25th.
Fuck it, I'm moving to Australia. Spiders won't stop me.
Cool, we're in second place on both lists. Does that mean we're the average best country to live in?
The UK gave us good music so they win.
I was expecting the US to be on the lower end. I can live with number 7.
Where's the US on this scale?
I can't take anything seriously that says France is the best place on earth. [editline]12:04AM[/editline]
Where's the US on this scale?
For the love of god tell me you're trolling
France is a shithole though..
that's the joke.
Where's the US on this scale?
If the US is on the list as 7th, then I highly doubt they looked at the education system.
If the US is on the list as 7th, then I highly doubt they looked at the education system.
The UK has Chavs, their education system has failed horribly.
Australia is second. Everyone come to Australia and spend all your money. [editline]05:09PM[/editline] now
They should bump it down a few more rankings because their tables don't have an adjustment for out-of-control police states.
Well just because a country ranks well doesn't mean it would automatically be the place to live either. People are more loose about manners and stuff in the USA where in France there's a strict etiquette you follow (sort of). You could move to France because it has the highest rating, but you might hate it. As for the UK, I don't know much about it, but some people may love it there even though it ranks 25th. Bla, bla, bla I think you get the point.
Racism at it's finest. You think they could've at least made it second to last to avoid looking completely racist. :v: And what the hell does "Human Development" even mean? Do they know how humans are supposed to develop?
How is it racist? It's a fair, objective study that looks into multiple aspects of life, subsequently rating them based on these aspects. Niger is a shit country to live in.
How did France get to number 1? It was number 25 five years ago.
How did France get to number 1? It was number 25 five years ago.
Um, nations can change?
According to the UN that list is wrong. http://hdr.undp.org/en/statistics/
If the U.N. does anything but send aid to people and condemn things in the next 24 hours TH89 will eat his own sock!
Um, nations can change?
Yes, but it's doubtful for it to advance that far in such a small timespan when the others on the list have barely moved.
Yes, but it's doubtful for it to advance that far in such a small timespan when the others on the list have barely moved.
I don't really think it's doubtful... Each country is different.
Yes, but it's doubtful for it to advance that far in such a small timespan when the others on the list have barely moved.
Maybe all other countries got slightly worse while France stayed the same, forcing France up.
Sweden got a worse quality of life than both the UK and US? Hah, that list is so wrong.
The UK is terrible and everyone there should just die
Australia has an amazingly high standard of living, but sadly we have an awful government and civil rights.
Socialist Motherland.
I thought Denmark was higher than that...
