maybe it was self defense
I think it's the origin of the disorder. THe effects are the same. A psycopath has a origin on biological stuff. Like the bald guy from Kane & Lynch that has to got to take pills in order to avoid killing/manipulating people Sociopath...well..."socio"...you understand it.
video games are a really good source thanks man
maybe it was self defense
How many toddlers could you beat in a fight?
How many toddlers could you beat in a fight?
probably a shitload unless they were man sized, maybe this kid was man sized
also, what the hell is with the "straw that broke the camel's back" phrase getting used a lot more often now, is it the new buzzphrase here in SH?
...new? Dude, where have you been for the past 165 years? (or possibly more) Basically: a ton of problems can be small individually, but together they can be just as troubling as a large problem. The 'last straw' is the last small event that pushes you over the edge. Kind of like how in Elder Scrolls games, you can jump and run around carrying multiple weapons and suits of armor, but pick up too many flowers and at some point you'll instantaneously slow down to a waddle. That last flower you picked up is "the last straw". Seriously, how have you not heard of this phrase before?
I know one thing, they don't exactly like babykillers down in the prisons. If he doesn't regret doing it, they will sure as hell make him remember it.
Looking at how NuclearJesus explained his roommate, it sounds like a "Straw that broke the Camel's back" event that just caused him to do an extremely irrational thing that he had no control over and couldn't stop. In other words, he probably snapped. It's a damn shame for both parties. [editline]cock[/editline] Though that brings up a question: What was the "Straw", specifically, that would cause a man to brutally murder a young girl?
Don't want to defend or anything here. But most people hit alot harder than they think they can. A good placed medium strenght hit can break a childs neck with ease. It was probaly not a beating that lasted minutes brutally murdering the girl, it was probably just 1 or 2 hits.
maybe it was self defense
Yeah, those little fuckers bite.
Hope your new roommate turns out better
For me there is not enough information. All that is said is that the 4 year old was found not breathing with head trauma, nothing more, nothing less. I will wait for more information and evidence before jumping to conclusions.

It's pretty fresh news and it's so vague that we could barely make anything of it, so cut it with that "straw that broke the camel's back" thing, until we get more details, that is. As for the op, yeah, it ain't exactly fun seeing an old friend brought up in the news in this context.
maybe it was self defense
Yeah, 4 yoor olds can be exceptionally dangerous, their scream causes a brick to shit a brick
maybe it was self defense
If only he had a taser
Jesus christ I wonder what goes through people's heads when they do things like this
"thats the last time that little shit eats my crayons"
http://hamptonroads.com/2013/05/newport-news-man-arrested-after-4yearolds-death Long story short, this guy lived with me for about five months. He always seemed like a chill guy. Always polite, helped out with the housework, played X-Box a lot. He had been out of work for a couple months after a car accident, but he paid his rent, and moved out voluntarily after he could no longer pay. He moved in with his new girlfriend. We didn't hear much about him after that. Two months later, and he's been arrested for beating his girlfriend's four year old daughter to death. Edit: A funny rating? Really, dude?
Find him when he gets out of jail and beat his ass. I will pay you in cookies and funny ratings.
I think it's more an observation that FP seems to love completely overusing a phrase for a short period, I remember about a year back it was 'ad hominem'
I've actually never seen that phrase used on SH for the past while before I used it, just FYI. I never knew it was SH's catchphrase.

No exaggeration. The trick is understanding that a 4 year olds job is to push your buttons. Can't handle it? Get out the kitchen.
I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to do that.
Holy shit. I could never for the life of me live with someone that looked like the OP's roommate. You just never know.
I've actually never seen that phrase used on SH for the past while before I used it, just FYI.
Holy shit. I could never for the life of me live with someone that looked like the OP's roommate. You just never know.
My current roommates have tattoos and guages, and they're delightful.
My current roommates have tattoos and guages, and they're delightful.
I don't mind tatoos, but having a face like that makes me feel like I'm going to get shot at/stabbed.
don't judge people based on their appearance?
Yeah, well, that's not going to happen, now is it?
Yeah, well, that's not going to happen, now is it?
try?
How can you even live with yourself knowing you've done something like this.
By remembering that he won't live forever.

Edit: Removed details not yet released by police. Probably wasn't the best idea to post that.
