The question of how that's even possible is going to gnaw at me for a while.
oh god this is one heck of a layered joke
eww nsfw http://didyouknowarchive.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/teratome.jpg Nightmare fuel
I've seen a few pork scratchings that looked like that
talk about wisdom teeth
This is the job of Nucleic acids, whereby the protein syntesis is giving the information to create specialized proteins that are in the wrong place. This is what happens when the genetic codes are "altered" within the DNA, and do not develop in a way that was proven to be effective for the sustainability of the organism, what makes these go wrong? Can someone put it better than this?
When I saw "brain tumor with teeth", I thought the kid had a goddamn teratoma inside his brain. Does this still count as a teratoma?
I've got one such cyst currently festering right near my butt-crack. It's painless, but the sudden dip (it looks and feels like a belly button near my ass) and fact it's got a weird black coloration is unsettling. It's also full of hair, which was readily discovered when the doctor inspecting it pulled out a strand that somehow managed to wriggle itself free. I can have it removed whenever, but when I do I'll make sure to have them save it so I can take pictures and post 'em here.
That's actually a Pilonidal Sinus. I know because I have one, apparently they're really common, albeit annoying. They really fucking suck if they get infected though.

I'm not sure if it's normal or not but mine drained this weird fluid even without an infection, I had to wear a gauze pad all the time because if I didn't I'd end up looking like I'd sat in a pool of blood.
That gives me weird thoughts about the idea of a tumor growing to the point where it starts to resemble an actual human being. And it's sentient.
This is how it starts, first its tumors with teeth next it's going to be vagina's with teeth :tinfoil:
When my son was born they had to measure his head size 3 times because they didn't believe it. He was in the 98th percentile for head size, and his head was "out of proportion" with the rest of his body. They were so surprised that they decided to do a CAT scan(I think) to make sure that nothing was wrong, and luckily nothing was. He's just my big head little boy :3 Needless to say we were relieved to find out there was no problem but it was still quite a scare. here he is as of a few minutes ago. [t]http://i.imgur.com/rtTQLi5.jpg[/t] my big head He's grown into it some and I think he'll continue to do so
Always interesting to know that there are parents on Facepunch. P.S. don't go into the turn on thread.
The Thing.
Okay I have no fucking idea how is that possible and isn't killing him in the process.
Looks like SCP material tbh.
more like body horror in general.
Teratomas are creepy. They can also have hair or even limbs.
They have been known to form eyes and other complex organs as well NSFW image

It's always so fucking creepy and amazing when DNA fucks up and just decides "This should be teeth" or whatever. So creepy, but so amazing, and so awful.

shouldn't have looked at the pictures because i feel fucking sick now [editline]4th March 2014[/editline] its just the idea of hair in places where it shouldn't belong that makes me feel sick
His brain is hungry for learning!
Poor kid will need hormone treatments for the rest of his life.

They're pretty embarrassing, but you should probably see a doctor to get rid of it. Mine sort of did itself in while I slept, so I had to clean my bed a bit. It was super nasty. I am lucky to have a great immune system, otherwise it probably would've been infected. But yeah, baby teeth brain is messed up.

The only way to ge trid of them is to have them surgically removed, though you can improve them by keeping it free of debris and giving it a good scrub with a loofer.
what is this fucking akira bullshit fuck this i'm gonna be a dog in the next life
IIRC dogs can have such tumors too.
He should put it under his pillow for a shiny nickel.
hell, he shouldve just slept with his head under the pillow
when I see this kind of shit all I can about is the limitless amount of things that can happen to the human body. It's pretty unnerving They were fully formed teeth too? Holy shit
Of course, seeing the results makes me praise modern medicine. 30 years ago, this boy may not have made it. 100 years ago, he definitely would not.
