Theres a big difference between not being able to work, and not being to do anything.
Do you disagree with the notion of a right to a standard of living? Because under what your proposing I doubt that that standard of living could be uniformly achieved for all disabled people
Maybe you should report the bullying...
Reporting it does jack shit. The bully/bullies will get a slap on the wrist at most.
You remind me of the kind of person that thinks that people who are physically or mentally disabled to the point of not being able to work should be only given just enough to live by the skin of their teeth, pretending that that wouldn't be an incredibly depressing existence.
Wait woops I mean you actually are that kind of person.
Who's to care whether they know the difference between depression and having 0 mentality. Why should people who can't speak, understand, or even think have funding? I mean I was being nice, but clearly not allowed to have an opinion.
Yet noone here has explained why government should keep up it's spending on this situation? There are plenty of other areas that could use the money, and deserve it due to actually making something of their life instead of sitting being useless. Some don't have a choice, understandable. Why should those unable to work have the government waste money on a useless investment. Why do they deserve funding over anything else?
Holy fuck are you sure you are human and not some robot?

You have an opinion, it's just awful

because who the fuck wants a dull experience with little to no external support
getting funded support is about you, not anyone else

why should you have 'funding'
Do you disagree with the notion of a right to a standard of living? Because under what your proposing I doubt that that standard of living could be uniformly achieved for all disabled people
No I agree, there should be a standard for living. Depending on several factors though. When a person literally can't speak or do anything at all, literally nothing. Then why should they? I am not saying kill them, but if there is no hope for anything schooling can do then why should they get the same amount as someone who has for example above "ADD" and has to be in an office alone?
why should you have 'funding'
I don't have funding, nor am I using any? Why even bring this up? I paid for college, and now work like anyone else. I had no financial aid, nor am I unemployed?

If they can't feel it or know the damn difference, then why does it make a difference?
Other than food and water, please explain how they are better off with it? Schooling is understandable, but what I am getting at is how are they better off with funding?
Its because they are fucking human beings who have awareness. How fucking hard is that to understand? You treat disabled people the same as you treat anyone else because they are humans just like everyone else. I am sure you would not suggest that people disabled in accidents shouldn't be cared for would you? So why suggest someone who is born disabled shouldn't be cared for equally well?
No, A government is a system in which a society often chooses to live and not all people believe a government should protect the people, in the middle east most governments are there to protect god, in East Asia they are there to insure dominance, in Mid Africa governments are there to propagate the master race. What a Culture defines what the governments job is and to say that the way you think things should be in all governments is borderline racist, who are you to tell what people should value.
It is also ignorant to say "It's 2013, herp a derpa derp" Time does not dictate how people live.
I literally meant the government should treat all its citizens fairly not use some shitty medieval system because we are in a time where we should be well above killing people for being black / being a peasant / because they aren't the right religion.
So yeah being 2013 is pretty significant.
[editline]27th February 2013[/editline]
also "Borderline racist", what a fucking laugh.
Yet noone here has explained why government should keep up it's spending on this situation? Because they don't deserve to arbitrarily die?
Also: Just because somebody is non-communicative doesn't mean they're not self-aware. They're humans.
The fact that people in this thread are advocating whole-sale genocide is disturbing and should honestly seek mental help. It's also pretty sad that you people are so entrenched into views when you guys so clearly have no experience on the matter whatsoever. How some of you guys continue to live without any shame is beyond any comprehension. The fact that people continue to think like this in any way in this day and age is saddening.
depends...
mentally disabled? yea put them out of their misery not like they are going to benefit society in any way
physically disabled? tons of possibilities for them
That's pretty... facist.
Get out of here.
I don't want to live in a world where human worth is measured in his potential to "benefit society".
Social Darwinism is the root to all terror-based ideologies.
I don't want to live in a world where human worth is measured in his potential to "benefit society".
That's.. not really a correct thing to say, I think. Some people contribute a lot to our society.
I mean, to achieve great things you have to put in a lot of efforts. Even the holocaust took a lot of effort, and the way a lot of countries have developed for us to get born into in this generation, it is the result of some VERY hard working people for past generations on end.
I have an idea, instead of killing the disabled people, why dont we just eat them?
That way they're actually contributing to society!
I don't want to live in a world where human worth is measured in his potential to "benefit society".
If we lived realistically it wouldn't be about "benefiting society", it'd be about survival.
He's right about half of what he said. The rest is just murder.
Better solution: Throw horrendous amounts of money into projects to solve disabilities

oh right sorry i forgot, you've never used a public or government subsidized service in your life
guess you dont require any funding after all since you live out in the woods

how does one become a professional Facist
i think i have a mighty fine face
Is "Facist" a misspelling of "Fascist"? I just want to make sure I understood that clearly.
Alright start with the imprisoned bastards first. They killed too much people and they don't deserve to steal oxygen.
I don't agree with putting disabled children down, but depending on the level of disablement, and whether it's physical or mental I have no issue with aborting on those premises. Once you've given a child a taste of what it is like to be alive, best left well alone.
I also think it's the responsibility of people who are aware they can pass on serious hereditary conditions that they abstain from reproducing unless the risk is small.
that's just stupid, everybody deserves a chance at life regardless of what disability they have
