What wild night would lead you to ending up in an LA water tank
One that includes a hide and seek game around the elevator, it looks like. maybe drugs/alcohol too, if the odd behavior is any indication
Wasnt this the plot to cabin fever?
I was thinking more along the lines of Dark Waters (the 2005 one).
Are water tanks like this just open top or something? How'd she get into it?
It's not really a wild stretch that somebody broke into the tank and dumped her body there.
people still drink tap?
you're an idiot
I cringed. I'm paranoid from time to time that if I turn on the tap bloody water or sewage would start pouring out. This is like the worst nightmare for me.
Every time I close my eyes in the shower as I put shampoo on I start getting afraid that sewage will start shooting out of the shower head.
Typical americans wanting to sue everybody and everything. None of the guests have gotten sick as of yet but now they're all gonna pretend to be sick and emotionally traumatized. Also, the hotel can't really be responsible for somebody else dumping a body in their water tank. As for the water quality, it's actually pretty hard to pin point the source of the problem and more often than not, it's usually from the city source and not your own tank.
typical canadians to be fine with drinking decomposing flesh see I can do it too stop being a generalizing prick, sometimes I feel like people like you actively look for reasons to call americans stupid.
Every time I close my eyes in the shower as I put shampoo on I start getting afraid that sewage will start shooting out of the shower head.
Why, that is impossible.
Why, that is impossible.
Not really afraid, just sometimes in the shower I think that will happen somehow lol.
Why, that is impossible.
it's called a fear some fears are rational, some are irrational
lol thats kinda gross
people still drink tap?
Well yeah. I have had it my entire life, and found only benefits.
I was talking about this with one of my co-workers and they said that they were rather shocked by the whole thing. I then began to tell him about the history of L.A.
hope that Hotel pays big fees after all the lawsuits
Why? It's not the hotel's fault. Some nutjob dumped a body in a water tank, what were the hotel staff supposed to do about that? Put up a sign? "Please, no disposing of corpses in the water tank." They checked the tank when the plumbing started to go on the fritz, and there's not much reason to check it otherwise. Unless you just have a constant suspicion of there being bodies in it, in which case you've probably chosen a pretty poor location for a hotel.
Why, that is impossible.
If it could happen with a body it could easily happen with trash, it's not impossible.
Water? Never drank the stuff. Fish fuck in it.
Jesus fucking christ. Ugh, that's some dark shit.
people still drink tap?
I've been in places where the city water was genuinely terrible, but even then I'd take a simple gravity filter over bottled any day of the week. As is, I live in a rural area with well water that's so close to perfect that anything beyond a simple particle filter may actually reduce the quality. Point being, consider the water when moving. It's yet another item on the list of non obvious costs to factor into living at a given location.
sounds tasty
I wonder how the guy who found the body felt.
