Manchester Airport are now legally allowed to look at your naked body!

I'm gonna walk in there naked so I show up clothed on the x-ray :smug:
[editline]05:27PM[/editline]
Also I will grab my dick, waggle it in circles and shout "I'M CUMMING" as they take the x-ray
[editline]05:28PM[/editline]
Then I will jizz on a man's face
I'd make sure I had a boner, so they'd think I have an abnormally large penis :downs:
They randomly select people to do these, and they have a tendency to pick young, large-breasted women.
Of course that could be because they are likely terrorists, but whatever.
No, this is voluntary.
I'm sorry guys but I can't see what your problem is with this. A professional, who sees hundreds of people a day, will get a 3 second look at the outiline of you manly parts, and , in exchange, you don't have to take off your shoes, jackets , get frisked, or go through a metal detector.
I hope none of you ever have something wrong with your man parts, because if you won't let a professional take a 3 second peek to make sure your not made of semtex, then I don't see how you will let a doctor feel you up the hole or on the balls.
Seriously though, here is a device that for te first time in TEN YEARS is going to atcually SHORTEN the time you Q up at security and you get all private.

Really? I have a friend who was required to go through these to get on her plane, you're right it's voluntary, but if you refuse the airport has every right to refuse you to board the plane.
Also, she's a blonde with large breasts, so I guess there's a reason (she might be hiding toenail clippers in her cleavage!)
Also for the ease of getting through the lines: The same can be said about having people implant ID chips into your wrist, it would actually be a really good idea if it weren't for the small, relatively useless and petty concepts of privacy and morality.
It's either this or having people rub their hands all over you and frisk you.
The choice is fucking clear.
That's a dick move.
I'm sure they could use a program that automatically blurs out the crotch if nothing is hidden.
I honestly agree with this, it's not like security are doing it just to look at your dick
I'm sure they could use a program that automatically blurs out the crotch if nothing is hidden.
People just need to get over themselves, and not take anything new as some sort of attack on their privacy.
*sigh* What people are willing to give up in order to be safe.
They are willing to let total strangers look at them naked in order to make sure no terrorists are on the plane. Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.
You are giving up the most basic of human dignities in order to stop terrorism. What do you think the goal of terrorism is?
I swear I can scream it all day long and people still don't understand. Stop feeding their need for attention and they die out.
You want to combat terrorism? STOP BEING AFRAID.
Quite frankly, I'm all for letting airports stare at my wang for the sake of preventing terrorism.
And i thought Manchester couldn't get any worse...
I think this is actually pretty good...
I mean, it's the most sensible way to see hidden things, and it's not like the people that have to watch it all day will be particularly bothered about seeing a tiny penis for the 5,000th time that day when you walk through.
I wonder what a worker feels after a day at work of this.
Does he go on the street and basically see everyone naked?

"Did you hear? this guy just blew up the plane your daughter was on, in mid-air."
"Oh well, no big deal."
I'm pretty sure this is done in america, but it like blurs your nipplez
People get safer and I get to show off my dong, win-win
I'm sure they could use a program that automatically blurs out the crotch if nothing is hidden.
People would then stick bombs in their vaginas.

You can be angry. You can hate them. But you cannot fear them. Fear is the goal.
By fearing them, you do disservice to everyone who has died as a result of terrorist actions. You spit on their graves and let terrorists pricks achieve their objectives by taking your freedoms.
By changing the way you live, you give them power. You let them know their tactics are working. A refusal to change the way we live our day to day lives is the only effective means of countering terrorism.
fuck now I have to pick between Manchester and Heathrow

Talk about apples and oranges. Chip implants would be used for identifying you, X-ray scanning isn't. You can let a professional who examines people's bodies all day take a look at you IF he happens to wear a white doc coat, but you couldn't let a professional who examines people's bodies all day look at you if he happens to wear an airport security personnel outfit? Why?
As long as it female guards, I'll put a fockin' bomb on my dick

Note that there's a difference between "fear" and self-preservation instinct. If you think every normal human could walk around all their lives and never worry about risks of death or injury, you're dreaming.

It's not that we fear them we just don't want the assholes blowing our planes up.

The point is less not to be afraid, and more not to let fear guide your views.
You can wish to preserve your own life, but you have to realize that the short term fear will hurt you in the long run. If you SHOW that it is affecting you, then they will KEEP doing it. If you prove that their tactics are ineffectual, then they will be forced to change methods.

What exactly are you interpreting as "fear"? People DO care when stuff gets blown up, that's a fact. If we ignore terrorism, the terrorists will just blow up more stuff until we stop doing so. Not preventing terrorism isn't magically gonna lessen it. Preventing terrorism is not synonymous to fearing it.

Hi, just calling bullshit on this. The program is voluntary, that means one must volunteer. So yeah you can opt out, but the airport can't refuse you boarding.

Skip the nothing to fear but fear itself crap. I don' t fear terrorism, but if at some point a device like this might save a few hundred lives, and speed up my time in the que, then what is there to stop be but my own insecurity.
I mean you come on here, expecting to be taken seriously, talking like you know all about fear, but It's YOUR fear of change that is making you post. I'm not loosing any freedom, I'm SACRIFICING a prudish notion of morality in a totally tiny way, allowing a professional, who, as i said sees hundreds of bodies a day, to look me over for a second, and in doing so, my safety, and the safety of several hundred others is slightly improved, and to boot I don't have to go through the shit at the security desk.

It's not fear, it's logic. I don't want to die therefore I don't have a problem with going into one of these things.
And why not fear them? It's a logical thing, and saying not to fear them and ignoring them is just inviting them to blow us up. Letting fear control our lives, now that is a different thing, but this is nowhere near that point.
In the safety versus freedom argument, the best point is in the middle, a good balance of safety and freedom, without sacrificing too much of either. Sure you may want 100% freedom, but once you're dead freedom won't matter.

Be sure to bring a healthy supply of Rad-X and RadAway when you fly.

Oh, of course you're right.
I'll just pretend Al-Qaeda aren't dangerous, and that they aren't willing to kill me and themselves.
Good plan :downs:
The only reason they blow up planes is because of Allah. No other reason. They don't give a fuck what we think or whether we fear them, they just care about doing the 'duty' of Allah.
Well, at least it's not as bad as Canada. During "routine" security checks, they take your laptop, put in the password, and browse through your documents. It's also not a set-up.
No they don't, stop making crap up. They can only do that if they have a warrant.
I want to become one of the guards who does this, and shouts "IT'S TINY" whenever a guy walks through
