objective facts like marijuana being less dangerous than alcohol are not opinions and if they have a right to believe it, they sure as shit don't have a right to use that false belief to take away a mother's child. Rejecting prohibition and rejecting marijuana are pretty mutually exclusive to a person who actually knows the facts about both.
This article is not about if marijuana is less dangerous then alcohol. The kid was not taken into child services because someone thinks mj is dangerous. None of this was about rejecting prohibition nor rejecting mj.
For people who keep talking about opinions, facts, and who needs educated and why- please at least try to read the article. I'm getting the impression that ppl read search warrant, child protective services, and mj and immediately came to the conclusion that because they believe mj is harmless all laws regarding it should be ignored by everyone.
A part of me thinks it's the schools trying to hush students who may have points and disagree with their policy because of this, scaring them into silence through it...On the other hand, sometimes I can't tell if they're just doing it for the hell of it or not. Particularly after that one story about the 6-year old kid who was a minute late to class because his mother's car wouldn't start properly that day, so they separated him for everyone else at lunch that day and shamed him by putting a piece of cardboard in front of and made him eat alone.

Jesus Christ how does an adult person look at that and say, "Yeah, that look's about right, move along." Really I can't tell if there's some crazy point with school officials or if they're just actually terrible people who get off to traumatizing children.
Is that a fucking "Dunce" hat next to him?
What is this, the 1940s?
no that's a bucket with a D on it
I don't know about you, but that D is written upside down if it was to be used as a bucket.
no that's a bucket with a D on it

In popular culture, it is typically made of paper and often marked with a D or the word "dunce", and given to unruly schoolchildren to wear.
That is just for promoting illegal drug use, not Free speech in general.
That is still pretty bad mind you.
Is this not expression of free speech?
Rights do not exist in American public schools.
Yeah, then they could have added obstruction of justice charges.
not if they don't find it though, its really a gamble but you could have easily gotten rid of 2oz in such a manner that their tests could not prove otherwise, just claim you're doing the dishes, while you flush it with solvents or detergents
