:foxnews:DOES THE US GOVERNMENT SUPPORT GAY RIGHTS? IS OBAMA TO BLAME? MORE AT 11:foxnews:
I like my women like I like my jokes: formulaic.
So long as they aren't lobbying for the complete removal of those terms in society then good for them. Seems a bit of effort for such a pointless change though?
What is the point in this stupid shit? It wouldn't matter if they were named "idiot 1" and "idiot 2" the fact is they are just wasting time by doing shit like this. It's got nothing to do with equality, its just people trying to get their own little piece of the spotlight by "fighting" for some useless cause or another.
Why should we do this for a bunch of false-Christian homosexuals who married to buttfuck and be okay with "the Lord?" Our age of correctness is pissing me off. The next person who says "I'm offended by that" gets a broom up their ass.
What if someone wants to be parent 1 but the other person wont let them. Do we go to doing "parent 1" and "parent A"
or who don't want to subscribe to a particular gender stereotype.
Crazy people.
it is a gay analogy in the first place.
you've gone too far you've gone too far in some places

Changing a few words on a form which is more convenient and works for everyone and has no negative effects at all whatsoever is a big deal apparently.
I could see a reason for this, I've once watched a video at school about gay families adopting a child, so remembering that, It can be a good reason for changing that. It's not discriminating unless your name added into the mother list when your a guy. Although I don't get why people find this retarded, or stupid, but I think it really doesn't matter that much. When homosexuality is being spread thought-out America, changing is going on registration and others. This is one of the actions to tell that is coming, so I think this change here is quite reasonably needed.
Woah, is it just me or is this Fox article strikingly not as batshit as they usually are? They even spoke to a le- Oh nevermind there's a bigger section on the opinions of 'outraged conservatives'. I wonder what kind of comments this got?
I would hate to be a gay person child they only see the life of an abomination
Them queers!
If parent number one is from Kenya, "you can be president" says Barry 3 people liked this
This is Obama's fault! Also he's Kenyan.
Our own State Dept is trying to destroy America. Family unit is very essential and fundamental element of any society. Father has his place and mother has her place. Each has very important role. We need to replace those people who lost their senses in the State dept with people who has right minds.
Right minds, as in politically.
Like the new term we have for gays. "Gilberts" which is a shortened version of "Gay/Lesbian/Trans/Other." If you try to debate with republicans and GOP at least know our terminology.
Gilberts? Not heard that one before.

i like how it fixes it for gays, but now parents will fight over who gets to be the first parent.
parent's aren't going to fight over being the first parent that's dumb as fuck and if it's a joke it's been made like 7 times
they should really do parent 0 and parent 1 parent 1 and 2 sounds like a ranking system and you just know the feminists are going to get up in arms about it and how it can be used to exploit women (which it can, really)
the feminists are going to get up in arms about it
which i'm sure is for a good reason :colbert:
Much arguing about absolutely nothing. No one is going to give a fuck. If a married couple is worried about who the 'first' parent will be they have bigger fucking problems then gender neutral terminology.
I just, *Facepalm* Did they really have to do this?
please explain without making my brain hurt why this is a bad decision
they should really do parent 0 and parent 1
Parent 0 and parent 1 make me feels like I'm in an array or something. "Parent[0] please present the passport for the child."

It should just be Parent. Why is the number system needed at all?
It should just be Parent. Why is the number system needed at all?
Because they'll want the place/date of birth of both parents and a little info about them. It's just to distinguish them.
Because they'll want the place/date of birth of both parents and a little info about them. It's just to distinguish them.
Except for biological parents it will be evident which is which because it will also say M/F on the passport, and for adopting parents it won't matter anyway because the Parent 1 / Parent 2 is completely arbitrary.
5 years later: "Parent 1 and 2 on passports will be replaced by individual numbers for each parent in the U.S" Queue: "I AM NOT A NUMBER, I'M A FREE MAN!"
5 years later: "Parent 1 and 2 on passports will be replaced by individual numbers for each parent in the U.S" Queue: "I AM NOT A NUMBER, I'M A FREE MAN!"
if no one else gets this reference i'm officially going to be depressed.

Why do some forms have a line for Address 2? Was Address 1 just not good enough?
Why do some forms have a line for Address 2? Was Address 1 just not good enough?
That would be for divorced parents I assume
