When mugabe took over, he massacred the white people (and still is), destroyed most services, and printed quadrillions of dollars which made all money worthless. Now all in his country are starving to death and infrastructure is falling into disrepair. Since this is obviously an example of white people being better than black people, and not an example of some dictators being better than others, it's a nice, concise white supremacy symbol.

It was used by the south in the civil war, and the people who hold it up proudly do it for different reasons. Sometimes it's to honor the confederate soldiers, other times it's used to promote racism/slavery. Those are the 2 reasons I keep hearing, anyways.
