You'd be surprised how many teens I've seen with bowl cuts these days it looks horrible and I'm 21!
You got some sources to back that up? People say this after everything. I have yet to see a copy-cat Oklahoma City bombing or a string of school shootings motivated by Sandy Hook.
it's less about people directly taking "inspiration" from these shootings, and more about them realizing how much attention the shooters get and craving the same thing

Well it went from a nation that actually exported food and raw materials to a nation with the one trillion dollar bill.

Your equating similar incidents with the copycat's.
What these people want is to send a message or do gain notoriety which is what they want.
Name one thing that happened only once, in History that never happened again.
Ok im getting rated dumb for this but none of you have given an example.
Thats because incidents from the past tend to just give ideas to the next sick fuck outta hell.
I'm confused what's the deal with Rhodesia and racism? All I know about it is where it was.
I'm confused what's the deal with Rhodesia and racism? All I know about it is where it was.
it was a state that arose from dutch and english settlers who originally arrived as part of corporate colonial enterprise in that region, led by the mining magnate Cecil Rhodes, achieved through violence against local africans, followed by their exploitation.

Ever hear the term "I'd rather die free than be a slave"?
It's a literal interpretation of that.
Whites colonized part of africa, called it rhodesia, made good hospitals for white people, bad hospitals for blacks, and overall segregated things into good and bad services.
When mugabe took over, he massacred the white people (and still is), destroyed most services, and printed quadrillions of dollars which made all money worthless. Now all in his country are starving to death and infrastructure is falling into disrepair.
Since this is obviously an example of white people being better than black people, and not an example of some dictators being better than others, it's a nice, concise white supremacy symbol.

Well the settlers bring peace and prosperity the region. However the racism set them up for getting isolated and overwhelmed by communists.
The news should be calling him a terrorist, if for nothing else, then for making Stormfront and /pol/ angry.

You wanna provide an explanation? Every time I've seen Rhodesia discussed, it's almost immediately followed by someone saying that what happened in Rhodesia/Zimbabwe proves that black people are incapable of governing a state and deserve to be ruled over by whites.
Not to mention Rhodesia's entire reason for existence and the policies of Ian Smith.
He looks hilarious.
The most badass pic he has of himself is in cuffs and that armor vest.
By the way - what does that flag mean? I mean the X with stars on it? I often see it associated with rednecks, but aren't rednecks kinda proud of their country and wouldn't burn US flag? (Sorry I don't understand all of those sub cultures in US)

Confederate flag, but now I keep hearing it being called the rebel flag. It was used by the south in the civil war, and the people who hold it up proudly do it for different reasons. Sometimes it's to honor the confederate soldiers, other times it's used to promote racism/slavery. Those are the 2 reasons I keep hearing, anyways.
