I'm a die-hard socialist, and even I can see that putting a 55% tax on 9 billion dollars of inheritance is wrong. It's his money, I don't see why he should be taxed for giving it away. That being said, a more modest tax on ludicrous amounts of money like this wouldn't bother me too much. Something like 5% or 10% I wouldn't have too much a problem with because with 9 billion you're barely gonna notice, and it would help closing the gap between rich and poor without completely fucking over the relatives.
